FUN at Cub Scout Day Camp

 Z caught a small fish!!!
Hit a bulls eye with the rifle and got close with the bow.

 Made some crafts - here's a few!

We got to go to Family Night.  We brought a "picnic" = not my first choice - but I did bring them some cut up carrots and cucumbers to eat with their pizza!  And I did bring myself something to eat!  (cooked onions, cabbage, beans, and rice with avocado and tomatoes!)   :)
 They boys loved to dance!
And do their skits!  Theirs was funny.  Z was a traveling salesman selling musical toilet seats.  :)
This girl likes to sit on your lap.  :)
I am so thankful for the leaders that made this week possible for the boys!  They LOVED it!!!

Back to Blogging

Back in 2008, my first blog entry was about Cow Appreciation Day.   So I feel it appropriate to come back to this blog with the same theme of an entry.  :)   I have lots of pictures to share and my journal on caring bridge might not be the place to share them all - so I'm going to try to keep this updated.   I will try to go back and put some pictures of the past year . . . but we're busy and things keep happening!  :)
My girls sewed their cousins matching skirts this morning since we were meeting up with them.

 Fun family lunch!
People were taking our picture - some didn't even ask!  :)   Ate $38 worth of free food!
Had to go get my blood checked.  Made some nurses and staff smile!  :)

Then met up with my brother's family for dinner.   Not sure what they saved - but we ate $30 worth of free food (David wasn't with us for this meal.  But a day's total of $68 isn't bad for free food . . . maybe next year we'll do breakfast too?)   Fun day!  Glad my kids like to dress up!  :)
