Viva Las Vegas!

Another MLK weekend spent in Vegas watching one of the girls playing soccer.  This time it was Jantzyn's turn.  Their coach put them in a very hard division and then ended up in the hardest bracket in the division.  They even played national ranked teams.  The girls played better than I have ever seen them play.  The ended up tying one team 0-0 and losing the other two 1-0 but they were both awesome close games and the team, parents, and coaches were happy with the way they looked.

Jadyn and Jaice came down with us to help cheer her on!

Team dinner at the Olive Garden.  The girls have such a great bond.  Most of the girls came from two previous teams and have come together and started their own new family.  They have good time together on and off the field.

Jantz was exausted and fell asleep on our way to Susie's house the first night.

In between games on Saturday, Jantzyn went to breakfast with her team and then the movies.  We had some shopping we needed to do so we headed to the fashion place and outlet malls and then went to visit Brandon and Tracy before her 2nd game.

It was a fun weekend get a way.  Doing what we love!

New Year 2017

We usually try to get together for New Years but this year Mom Losee was able to get all of Dad Losee's siblings and at least some of their children to get together.  We met at our church, ate dinner, visited, took pictures, and played games.  The only problem with churches is you have to be out by 10:00 so our family and Robyn's and Gma and Gpa headed up to our house to finish the countdown into the new year.

All six siblings

with the spouses.

Ringing and singing in the New Year.

Other random December fun

I love this year's Christmas Tree.  I think it's my favorite one so far!!1

I added a couple new decorations this year and they just made the fireplace complete!

Terry and I went to the the church orchard and dug us up a peach tree!!

Robyn gave me a heads up about a Tsum Tsum countdown on sale.  So i went and got it for Jantzyn and it was one of her favorite parts of Christmas this year.  Seeing what cute new Tsum Tsum she got each day.

We had some beautiful sunsets and they reminded me how lucky I am to live where and I do!!

I have always wanted a real pine and holly Christmas wreath and this year my friend told me of a place that they were only $5.00 so I couldn't resist.  I loved looking at it each day!!!

My mom retired from the college after 22 years.  So we went to her retirement lunch at the college to wish her good luck.  I know so far she has been loving being retired!

We went to Duncan's farewell and wished him good luck on his mission.

Having fun together at his luncheon.

Jacielyn got asked to Junior Prom while we were watching Moana.  Then they stayed and waited until we got home to greet her.

My work parties are always fun.  This year we split in to half and one group went to Wood Creations to make fun crafts we had picked out and the other went to Harmons and had a fun Christmas treat cooking class that we even got to keep what we made.  In between the two we met at The Crepery and had yummy crepe sandwhiches and hot chocolate.  After we met back at the office and played a christmas game and received a fun LuLu Lemon gift for each us from the doctors.

Christmas 2016

As the girls get older Christmas seems to feel different each year.  We have less and less toys and big things and fewer but more expensive requests from Santa.  This year was that way.  But the girls were happy with what they recieved and got what they had asked for.
I loved this year's Christmas tree.  I think it was my favorite of cutting down our own so far.

With Christmas being on Sunday this year we woke the girls at 10:00 to get ready for Sacrament at 11:00.  I had set their dresses (and Jakes tie) out on the couch for them to wear.

We still did our family prayer and traditional stair picture before having them come up and get their dresses and see the tree and presents.

Jay and Jake put the mistletoe to good use before heading to church.

The all looked so cute and handsome in their new Church outfits!

After church I made them all go get their PJ's on and then let the opening begin.

This year Jaice was very happy with her haul.  She got Wireless beats headphone, Alex and Ani bracelet, and other bracelets, a bag of Cherry Chocolate kisses, rings, necklaces, windbreaker jacket, clothes, new nike cleats, wallet, electric toothbrush, van high tops, portable speaker, and perfume,

Jantzyn had a good haul also, this year she wanted to re-decorate her room.  So she got a new comforter, pillows, wall decoration, blinds, rug, picture frames, a pineapple wood creation for her room, she also got: lot clothes, boots, soccer water jug, tsum tsums, beanie boos, book, bath and body stuff, and wireless earphones,

Jadyn wanted Babe lash to help her eyelashes grow, she also got a cc beanie, a frame i made with the leaves from the Sacred Grove and we havent gotten them yet (they were completely out) garments.

Jorrin has probably been my hardest one to shop for that lives at home the last couple years as she buys all her own stuff now.  But we did come up with a couple of things.  She got a nume curling wand, a rug, candle holders, and lamp for her new room decor, some boots, hangers, a lint roller, lanyard, and we finished paying off her cell phone that she was paying us back for from her birthday.

Jake got, pickle ball equipment, a retro classic battle ship game, an adult coloring book, and cabin socks.  And we gave them both car seat covers for Jays new car.

Terry got some new shoes, sequence, chalk, a new shirt, soccer umbrella, wireless headphones, garage door opener, and some cabin socks.

showing off their warm, comfy cabin socks.

That night we had Blaine join us for Christmas dinner and then played ourt new games all night long.
