Jor Eshelle Tryouts (3rd time around)

I can't believe it is Jor's last time trying out for her senior year of Eshelles.  I knew she would do awesome at tryouts.  I got teary eyed a coupld of times watching her.  She has become such a beautiful dancer.  I loved watching her during her technique.  During the dance routine the girls each do a 2 eight count solo.  This year i kept asking her to show me before tryouts and she kept saying it was a surprise.  One of the girls in her group was the other drill mistress this year and i guess they were going to do a silly duet together since it was their last tryout.  But the other girl got hurt while doing their technique.  So Jorrin had to make up her solo on the spot.  I was so impressed that she could do that and make it look like she had planned it all along.  Jor said it was very stressful but I don't think any noticed including the judges.  She scored very well with all three judges.

Jor and again four of the fab five, we can never find adriana when we need her.  Again we are all going to miss Kathleen next year.  She is such a crack up.

After tryouts the girls come back at 8:30 to get a letter handed to them from the seniors to see if they made it or not.  Here are most of the returners

Jor said she already loves this new team.  All the senior girls went and slept on the football field after this party and she said it was so fun.

Sunset Express tour

The end of the year is always busy for the school choir Sunset Express.  This year we had the annual concert at Tuachan.  I actually really enjoyed it this year, except is was freezing.

and of course they always perform at the kite festival.  This is actually the first year I have been able to go watch her sing at the kite festival and it was pretty cool with all the booths and things they had to do.  We didn't get to stay very long we had lots of soccer games that day too.  But we couldn't let it go by without a bus selfie.

This is the last concert they do for the year.  Good thing we have one more year left.

Another sport for Jantz

Jantzyn quilified to run the 100, 200 meter, and do the long jump again this year.  She won the long jump, and came in 2nd over all in both the 100 and 200  meter races.  I don't know how she gets those little legs to have so much power and move so fast but man can she run (and jump).  It was fun watching her and getting to hang out with her and her cute friends.

Jantzyn tries a new sport

We weren't going to even mention softball to Jantz this year, she has always said she didn't want to play in the past.  But on of the moms from Terry's soccer team was telling him she was over the league and that she should try it.  So we talked her into it.  She is actually a pretty good player for never playing before she usually hits every game and has had some good stops and throws too.  Now if we can just get her to wear her shorts like a softball player instead of a soccer player (she has them rolled about ten times).

Jadyn turns 19!

Jay's Bday was on a sunday this year.  So i made her favorite dinner.  BBQ pork chops and mashed potatoes and for desert we had strawberry shortcake.  Then we opened her presents.  She got some new toms, a cool cork board, Jake gave her a new couch, so we gave Jay some new pillows to go on the couch.  Gma/pa Cowley gave her a bean bag.  Gma/Gpa Losee gave her some pickles, chocolate covered raisins and a $20.

Family Birthday BBQ

Stacy and Ben's family game down the same weekend as the review so Mom and Dad Losee decided to do a BBQ while they were hear to celebrate all the spring B-days.  We had the traditional ribs chicken and potatoes.  Yummy salads and then a very yummy b-day cake.  After dinner Lacey had a nail party and painted all the girls nails.  They looked so cute!  After the nail party then the kids all left to play fugitive until about 12:30 am.  It was a fun night.
