Terry and me all Pirated Up
Our team we worked the booth's with
Our cute little grad
Jadyn and her best friend Taylor having so much fun.
The night started for the grad walking through a cute little school house. Then they played 4 square, had some snow cones, tricycle races, walked through a bus with all their kindergarten pictures hung up in it and to finish off the first part of Grad night ended it with fire works.
they entered through "The tunnel of time", seeing important things that have happened over the last 12 years.
They then slid down the slide into a gym transformed into more things from the last 12 years.
They had some Harry Potter booths, They got their fortunes told, made potions, drank Butter Beer, made charms, sat in Ron's Cash Cab, Stole some money (had a cash grab) in Gringots, played minute to win it at platform 9 3/4, played dragon darts, and quiditch.
They ate dinner in the Harry Potter hall which even had floating lights
In the Napoleon Dynamite section they played tether ball, had tots and dang quesadillas, got their pictures taken at the 80's studio, got to be memebers of the Happy Hands club, learn to dance like Napoleon, do uncle rico's tire toss, sing karaoke, and make toggles.
they also got to play laser tag. Jadyn said that was one of the funnest things to do.
In the main Gym they got smoothies, played mini golf, got married on the beach, roller skated, went down a zipline, had a rope, swing, played beach volleyball
they also had a huge twister game and dj so they could dance in the middle of the floor
In the pirate section they had a shooting gallery, got mustaches and braids and tatoos, they got to dig in the sand for gold dollars, and play coconut bowling.
Our booth was the prize booth.
I was on the donation/prize committee. We started in Dec asking for donations. We worked really hard and were able to get some really nice prizes and for each grad to at least get a couple of free food or icecream certificates. Some kids won bigger prized and we had some awesome grand prizes. We were able to give away 2 32" flat screen tv's, 2 lap top computers, an mini ipad, a over sized bean bag, a wire less stereo system, 100 in caah. It was a lot of work but so worth to see the kids when they came in our booth and saw what they could win. They were all so appreciative of even the little prizes.
During dinner the dads were the entertainment. They did an awesome hip hop to "Thrift shop"
Jorrin and her best friend Jordyn (sister to Jadyn's best friend Taylor) taught the dad the routine. They were both excited because they got to hang out a while after and check out the "Senior Only" grad night. They got to eat and have a smoothie and do some of the booths.
