Soccer Has Begun!

For the next 3 months we will be found at various soccer fields around the state. Tuesdays and Thursday nights for Jadyn and Saturdays for Jaicelyn.

Last night the Warriors defeated Pine View in double overtime and are 4-1 so far this season. Jadyn has started 4 of the 5 Varsity games and has become an intimidating factor on the defensive line. If someone gets in her way she is not afraid to introduce them to the turf!

Back to School 2010!

I think everyone I have talked to feels like this summer was way to short. I feel the same way but I think the last two weeks I have felt the weight of being a working mom with kids home in the summer. My house is a disaster (that I had planned to clean today before I sat down and decided to update my blog). Some of my children (I wont name names) have been very naughty the last couple of weeks, which also leads me to believe that even though it was short they are ready to go back to being on a schedule and learning again. I will miss them being around, espcially my little Jantzyn as she starts a full day at school. But I am also happy to get back to a routine. I think we all function better (at least in my home) when we are hussling, and bussling around.

Extended Family Get Together

Every summer we try to get together with all of Terry's Dad's family (brother and sister's and their kids) but we just couldn't pull if off this summer so instead Sharla graciously (was) volunteered to have a get together at her house. Everyone had so much fun and we are thankful for her letting us gather there to.....eat, visit,

stick,

ride,

swim,

and jump.

The Catwalk

On Sunday we had our annual "Back to School" fashion show. It was like any other fashion show you could imagine. There were beautiful models strutting their stuff, pose striking, loud applause from the audience (me, Terry, my mom, and my dad), and of course hair pulling, fighting over who got the most exposure, and even one model walking off the job. All in all a usual family night.

On Fri. Aug 6th Terry took the two older girls and their friend Savanah, with Terry's cousin Rusty and his kids, on their own version of White Water Rafting (they went tubing down the Virgin River).
