A Very Important Summer Activity

I forgot to put on probably one of the most important things that happened this summer (well at least for Jaice). Jaicelyn was baptized on July 5th. She was so excited and we are so proud of her. Congratulations Jaice we love you!!!!

Camping at Panguitch Lake

Over the 24th we took a little camping trip. We wanted to try somewhere other than Pine Valley (and cooler) so we asked our cousin Andy, who used to work on Cedar Mtn, where the best spots up there are. Sheri didn't agree with the first spot he suggested because it did not have running water or restroom facilities. We really liked the next spot up by Mammoth Creek but it was already full. So we continued up the road to the Panguitch Lake Campground. The girls had a lot of fun playing in the creek and pond, playing pickle, badminton, horseshoes, and just running wild. We all enjoyed a yummy dutch oven dinner of chicken and potatoes that Terry cooked for the first time. Just as we started cooking it started to rain so we took turns holding an umbrella over the coals so they wouldn't go out. It was nice and cool and we slept really good until some cows came wandering through the camp, and then some really loud fishermen in a tent next to us stayed up half the night telling each other of their exploits.

Even More Summer Activities

We decided we really liked being together as a family so we went to the Road Runner game together. The girls all actually loved it. The 2 little ones spent the whole game jumping in the bounce house with Saturn the mascot and Jadyn and Jorrin liked watching the game and listening to the hecklers yelling at the other team. We want to go to another game so if anyone wants to venture out with us let us know.

More Summer Fun

After Jadyn's Week we decided we liked spending time as a family so much that we went to Mesquite (we had a free two nights stay at Oasis) and let the kids go swimming and spent a night visiting our good friends the Bryants.

Summer Activiies

Since we have been reading and enjoying everyone elses blogs, we thought we would start our own. Since we have such an exciting life and we knew we would get so many visits.

So I guess we will start with this summer. The first half was pretty slow and relaxing (except for Terry he had summer school), and the second half we have spent trying to catch up on family activities we didnt get to do because of Terry's summer school.

Jadyn made the snow canyon 12-13 year old softball all star team, so we spent the week of July 7-11 travelling every day to Cedar City to watch her play. She had alot of fun made some new friends and enjoyed playing her favorite sport (because that is the one she is playing at the moment).
