Ryan turned 8!!!!!

This birthday was a big birthday for Ryan around here. In our house when you turn eight it is a very big deal. You get to make a decision, your first big one. You get to get baptised and become a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. Though in Ryan's case things are a little different. He is not going to be babtised, he doesnt need to be.  I have known since he was very little that he would not be making this decision here. I have been preparing myself for this. I know logically this is the best decsion. It makes me very happy and sad at the same time. I was trusted with this special spirit to take care of till he can go home to our heavenly father. He came in a special body with his own special challenges. He knew he was going to come to this earth this way and was up for the challenge. Some days he is up for them more than his mother. I love Ryan with all my heart. I am very grateful to have his spirit here to teach me. It is hard sometimes to remember that this has got to be so much harder for him then me. He is the one who can't let us know all the things he is thinking. Though at the same time he enriches everyone he comes in contact with. I am told all the time how you can just see his sweet spirit through his eyes. He has the most expressive eyes I have ever seen. I know without a doubt he is one of gods special children and he knows way more than me. I just need to remember he can teach me as much as I can teach him. I LOVE YOU RYAN HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

We threw Ryan a big birthday party. We have friends with an indoor pool and they were very nice to let us use it. We invited his whole primary class and there familys. We had a good 20 kids and almost as many adults. It was so much fun. Ryan loves to be in the water. His school lent us a life vest that keeps him a float. I think I really need to get one of these. It was awesome. It does look a little funny on him but it keeps his face out of the water and I don't have to hold on at all!!! We had so much fun with all our friends. They made him feel special. Thanks so much everyone!!!! We love having you guys as our friends.

Ryan is 7!

Ryan had a great birthday! We went to his class and brought French frys. His favorite thing. Then we had cookies at home for his cake because he can hold on to those easier than a cupcake. We love you Ryan.

Someone was playing with my phone.

I thought these were cute.

New years

We went to Lancaster for new years this year. The kids had lots of fun with cousins. We went and saw the lights at the temple. The kids went on dirt bikes and Abby was learning how to ride a bike with no training wheels. She is so close.

Christmas 2011

I need to download pics off my camera but these will do for now. We had a fin Christmas. We went and cut down our tree this year. That was an experience.
We had fun though. The other pic is the kids in there Christmas pjs. A tradition in our house. Merry Christmas.

Abby turned 5!

She had a great day. I took pics at her party but can't find them right now. So here she is opening presents and blowing out candles on her cake. Happy birthday baby girl.

Horse back riding

We have some nice friends who own a horse and let the kids come ride him. All of the kids got to do this even Ryan! They had so much fun. Thank you Dalen's.

Halloween

So I am catching up on past blogs I wanted to do. Could not believe it really had been this long.
I didn't get great pics this year. Though better than last when I didn't get any.
Abby couldn't decide what she wanted to be but lucky her she was able to dress up twice. She is a witch and cat in the hat. Ryan was a frog. Jason a cowboy and Trevor an old time cowboy sheriff. It was a fun night!

Trevor's 10!!!!!!!

I can not believe 10 years have gone by. He is growing into a great young man. We decided to only have a family party this year. Thanks Crystalin and Wendy for being part of the party.
There was a barbeque, pumpkin carving, Cake and presents. We had lots of fun. Some day when Trevor complains I will not do a halloween themed party. This year it was just easier. He says he had lots of fun. I know I did. We love you Trevor.

Tahoe

Going to Tahoe was not on the top of my list to do this summer. I finally got talked into going and I wished we had gone sooner. I think we went at least 4 times before school. This trip was actually after school started. The best time to go. There was hardly anyone there. We had lots of fun. We went with Kevin's brother and they rented some fun toys we sure enjoyed it. We will defiantly be going a lot more next summer!
