CONVOCATION BALL!!

Last nite was NTU convocation ball @ Ritz Carlton. My hectic day goes:

10AM
So excited! But I still havent found a pair of suitable earrings to go with my necklace. Tried a white pair to go with the black necklace. erm.. not v suitable.. Still dunno how.. Went downstairs to check out how much does temp curls cost. (18 w/o wash; 20 w wash) might as well wash my hair..

11AM
still dunno my earrings r suitable anot.. ask ling to go online and ask for her advice.. in the meantime do manicure while msning..

11.30AM
She also think the earrings not suitable. going out with mum later to buy a new pair.. *waiting for nails to dry..*

2pm
Went to hougang mall to buy matching earrings.. dun understand why comestic earrings can be so bloody expensive. managed to buy a pair after much indecisiveness on my part.. June and Jem juz msg me tat the meeting time is 6pm at Ritz.. shit, I'm running out of time


3.30pm
Reached home, prepare to shower before going downstairs to do my curls.. did pedicure first before i forget..

4PM
Now sitted comfortably on the salon chair.. stylist asked me whether I wan a wash anot. But I told her I'm running late so juz get my hair done fast. after doing all the curls she asked me whether I would like to pin up some of my hairs since I'm going for dinner. And she charged me 25 bucks after adding those extra few pins! (rem, is 18 w/o wash) Wat duh!

4.45pm
Juz getting ready to dress up. J is picking me up at 5.40pm. So Ive got less than an hour to doll up.

5.30pm
J is on the cab now.. Yet I'm still half done! I havent put on my necklace, lip gloss, shimmering powder, packed my bag, wear heels.. oh my goodness!

5.45pm
J is at the door now. Trying to wear my heels. Going to give him a surprise now. Bet he cant imagined how i looked after I do up my hair. Haha.. when I walked out of my room, he gave a "WA!" Haha! Shiok! And he looks great too! Absolutely dashing! Haha.. Arent u happy I said this?

6.15pm
Reached Ritz Carlton. Can u believe it?! The bloody taxi uncle dunno how to go to Ritz Carlton! I mean it's such a famous hotel, any taxi driver shld noe wat! And I have to direct him when we reached suntec. And I repeat.. I HAVE TO DIRECT HIM. And I thought gals are supposed to have no sense of directions? Somemore the last time I went there was like 4 years ago? Duh! We're like the 1st 2 persons to reach there lor. Wah! Shld have known not to reach too early. Right after we reached, there's this couple who reached after us. this gal was wearing this bloody sexy halter with plunging neckline and super bare back. Ha. And further more I noe the guy from my og in jc. But he din recognised me so i cant be bothered also. Anyway he got such a sexy partner he doesnt need to look at other ladies too.

I've juz finished a book called "The Confessions of Max Tivoli". It's a tragic story, abt a man aging backwards. That is, he was born old but as he grew up he became younger and younger. He had loved a gal when he was young.. but he looked like an old man then. Years later.. when he looked exactly his age, he had another chance for love. But it couldnt last. It was such a sad sad story so we muz always cherished the ones we loved.
