THE WEDDING DINNER I

juz came back from my cousin's wedding dinner in johor.. tot it was juz a simple restuarant dinner at first.. so i juz wore my trusty jeans and a new shirt..(ya... i finally bought the nice green top from southhaven) but when we reached there.. it turns out to b a "qian ren yan"(meaning thousand ppl dinner) in a really big ballroom in a really classy hotel.. hmm.. luckily i went shopping in orchard today to buy a new shawl n bag before i went for the dinner in the evening..

talked abt going to malaysia.. we left home at 5pm n met w an intermediate traffic jam at woodlands there.. was jammed for abt 50 mins.. anyway, we reached johor safely at 7.15pm and uncle brought us(aunt, mummy n me) to eat wanton noodles first be4 going to dinner.. (u see, we expect dinner to start at 9pm.. the usual s'porean practice..) then we decided to call a cab to bring us to the hotel n a really nice taxi uncle told us where we shld call cab to prevent our carrot head from ganna chop.. if u get wat i mean.. so we happily reached the hotel at 8pm.. and the dinner started like 5mins later.. oh gosh.. im full!

1000 ppl... can u imagine how big is it??? not tat i mountain tortoise, but i really dun see the need to invite sooo many ppl.. apparent the guy's family is filthy rich so i think they have to make the wedding as grand as possible.. from my pt of view.. it's really a bit 'act act'..but on the other hand.. i was also quite touched.. my cousi n n her husband steady for 10 years already le! then 'chu lian' (first love) somemore.. wow.. tat's so rare lor.. n the most impressive thing is.. 4 of the 10 years are long dist relationship.. so touching rite.. (but of cos if it's me.. if i noe my bf so damn rich i oso wont let go la..)

p/s have another wedding in 2 weeks time.. have to find dress this time cos confirm is in one of s'pore 5 stars hotel liao.. sometimes juz hate shopping for the sake of shopping.. u'll never find wat u really wat..

WAT A LONG DAY..

1. watched Madagascar tonight.. sat at the 3rd row from the front.. the screen seems real big..

2. Gotta 'talent hunted' this afternoon.. Liz angry the guy never asked her.. i understand.. happened to me once.. ppl juz dun look beyond the surface u noe.. anyway..i think i passed the age of 'star dream' liao..

3. Found a nice green top for weddin dinner.. but a bit casual.. shld i buy it? (still considering..)

4. Finally Taiwan trip has a slight progress.. seems like a long long way to go... can we finally make it there?

THE WEDDING DINNER I: PREVIEW

Got a wedding dinner this coming sat.. was thinking of wearing jeans.. since not my wedding anyway.. BUT.. have yet to find a nice top to go with the jeans.. YES.. I'm conflicting myself.. but women dun like to lose face u noe.. keke.. mayb go shopping tml..

JOB SEARCHING started with great enthusiasm since dunno when..
