Easter 2009

We finally went camping! We have been talking about it for years but we have never had the time. Well we finally had a long weekend with no sports on the schedule. So we decided to go camping with Jason's brother and family. The campground we found was great...Yogi's Jellystone Park...it was geared towards families with lots of activities planned for the Easter Weekend. They had Arts and Crafts, a Potluck dinner, a Flashlight Egghunt (the kids found a total of 4 eggs), and a church service on Sunday. The kids enjoyed spending time with thier cousins climbing and slilding down rocks, playing at the park, and eating smores. Camping brings back so many great memories for me and I can only hope that the boys will remember this trip for a long time to come.

Spring Break 2009

This year for Spring Break we decided to head north to Baltimore. We went to visit "Aunt Linda the Great", Kenly, and Lukey. Unfortunately we missed the actual snowfall by a few days, but the kids were able to play in some left over snow in the field behind Aunt Linda's house. :) We had a fantastic time visiting Baltimore's Inner Harbor and the Science Center, Washington D.C., Medieval Times, the National Zoo, and Laray Caverns in Virginia. During our trip we took a ride to New Jersey to visit Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and other family. The kids had a wonderful time seeing all of the family.

Caleb learning to ride his bike without training wheels

I did it! I can ride my bike.

Our Family Vacation to Florida

We went to Florida for 2 weeks this summer. Even though it was the longest visit...it still went by super fast. I don't think a visit will ever be enough time. We were able to spend time with family and friends, take a trip out to the Clearwater Beach, and do the Universal thing. The boys had a wonderful time. They went swimming pretty much every day and because of that, they are both swimming like little fish. Needless to say...they were not ready to head back to Texas. Although they love their home...they love and miss their Grandparents. On our way back to Texas we were able to meet up with my Dad. The boys were happy because we stopped at McDonalds...and they were able to eat a big breakfast and play on the playground. I think this was one of our most eventful trips.
