"A Hoodwink Christmas and Stinky Cigars"

The first and second grades put on "A Hoodwink Christmas and Stinky Cigars" the night before Christmas break. It was a great play about Santa's much needed vacation. Jake did a fabulous job singing about "Surfin' Santa". They thought he looked like a perfect "surfer" boy..Imagine that! Check the movie clip out below.......

Merry Christmas 2009

This the final blog for 2009. I am going to publish it along with my 2008 blog next week, so we will see how it turns out!!! Here are some pics from the Christmas festivities. It was so much fun!

Gretchen Wilson and Charlie Daniels come to MCA

Charlie Daniels and Gretchen Wilson came to MCA for the annual Christmas sing-a-long. It was extra special today because Cole, a kindergartner, had a sweet reunion with his dad. His father is serving our country in Cuba and has been away for some time. It was a tearjerker as Charlie asked Cole what he wanted for Christmas and then proceeded to give him the best Christmas present ever!You can see it in the video below.

Also, the second video is Gretchen singing her new Christmas demo "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" along with some of the kids. I thought is was so funny because her daughter(who is standing beside her) was a little embarrassed by Gretchen's dancing.

No Space

Sometimes, there is just no time for yourself, not even to eat or sleep! They can't wait for Jay to get home. This is what I saw when I walked in the kitchen!

Tree Trimmin'

Our mother and niece came to visit last week and they brought us a new tree, and a very full one I might add..We had a lot of fun hanging out and playing together...The kids absolutely adore them and it was fun to visit since we couldn't go there Thanksgiving. Here are some pics!
