More fall, college, and a catch up with high school buddies!

A horrible day in our country's history. :(

Aaron got a job in the dining hall at school. Growing up, he did NOT like to be in the kitchen- afraid of anything hot. Looks like he's having to figure it out. Yikes! That looks HOT!

Stephanie and Cynda were 2 of my very best high school friends. Steph is local, but Cynda is in Penn. So, when she came to town for a wedding, we all got together. We spent over 2 hours on this back patio, catching up and laughing a LOT! 

It was fun to feel 17 again! :)

FALL and Football!!

Ok, so it's not technically fall yet, but as soon as a football game is on, I call it fall! I bought a streaming service that allows me to watch all the college and pro games, and I love talking to Aaron every week about the Iowa game. I'm a new fan, that's for sure!! 

And I find great joy in decorating my home for fall, so I did that as soon as September hit. I love how it looks!

Josie's b-day and college pics (and a few of Sasha)

 Sweet Josie turned THREE at the end of August, and her b-day party was the cutest. She looked like a little princess and LOVED all of her presents. :) We had fun celebrating her, but I missed the kids- they would have had fun. 

I gave Josie a Barbie teacher. :)

Getting Settled In

At the end of August, we were all where we were supposed to be. Allison, comfortably settled in her apartment with old room mates, Aaron getting used to Iowa, and me, home alone in a very quiet and clean space! :) Lots of change, but it was all going well!

Aaron is a ROCK STAR about sending me pictures. I feel like I get to peek in on him often, and I LOVE it!! He is quickly making the most of his time at Iowa, and I could not be more happy for him! 

Allison is also great about sending pictures. I love seeing her and Katie having such fun together!

This ended up being my "new" ride. It's all electric, and I'm enjoying NOT paying for gas every week. Although it isn't a car I would ever choose, I am enjoying driving it. :)

They did a fun little photo shoot in their summer apartment. This year they'll live apart again, but they still live close, so that's nice.
