My friend Risa made me a fabric Banner and sent all the fix 'ins to make these cute cupcakes. I used beet juice to dye the batter pink!
Sushi Saturday night with friends.....
(Kendra BFF behind me and I am wearing the fun hair do-dad Becky got me)
I love to be with friends on my bday so 7 couples joined me for sushi (yes, we have sushi in our town!) I brought my favorite treats. "Blondie" Oreos and chocolate twizzlers! Here Megan is making up her goody bag while Travis has a headache?
Gary trys to get Jana to eat her cucumber salad. She is a very picky eater and thought this would be a green salad w cucumbers. She loves me so much that she came even though she was grossed out by the sushi!
I got to sit by Jill and Keith and we had some good laughs!
This is some of the girls that go on our shopping dates. Very helpful when you dont have a mom or sisters around to help you dress!
Bob & Becky and Shannon.
Shannon gave me a low temp glue gun and a box of crayons. I haven't done it yet, but I'm suppose to unwrap the crayons and put them in the gun like a glue stick and make some crazy fun art!! I'm excited about that and will have to do it when the kids are sound asleep! "MY TOY!"
Sara and Nate (Megan's Brother)
I guess I didn't get Jeff, Kendra's hubby, in the photos. He was busy chatting it up with the boys I'm sure!
This is just a cute random photo of how Scarlett and I spend our sunny mornings. I hike up the orchard for 20 min. and admire the view of being able to see 15 miles across the lake!...and then my back hurts!
She wasn't too thrilled about it this morning!
The only way I get through the winter is to "embrace" it even with a half SMILE on my face. My treadmill is being abused too. I have a light box next to it and just in case I have it next to my window for natural light on sunny days! You gotta do it all, right? I am not one of those who is out in the cold running on the road!
SIX MO WKS of cold and snow!! (Rrrrrr....happy grin!)
Family and Friends: Thanks for all the fun birthday calls I got and letters in the mail!
