Aiden's School Program

Last night Aiden had his school program. It was called ABC & 123. It was great. The 4 First grade classes each sang a song and they all sang 4 together. Aiden's class sang BINGO. They all did very well. They also sang songs like ABC and 123, Ten Little Fingers (in English and Spanish), and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. It was a fun night and great to see Aiden with his classmates.

Aiden & Mac's Race Day!!!!

Mac and Aiden had their last skiing days and they had Race Days. Mac was on a short course going through half circle gates. She was a little slow.....I think she thought she would hit her head going through. Anyway she made it down (she missed a few gates and went on the other course) and had a great time. They had a little party after with cake and juice. They also got their report cards and a certificate. She had a fun season and improved a ton.
Aiden was on a big race course. He had a blast and made it down through all of them. If you listen at the beginning of the video you'll hear the announcer say his name. It was pretty cool.
We are having a family ski day tomorrow so I am sure we will get some more video.

Mackenzie and Julie Skiing

We got a little more video of Mac skiing with her class. Brian and I finished lunch, grabbed our skiis and went to put them on and noticed some of Mackenzie's age group getting off the gondola. We looked up and there she was (shes the one in the white pants). So we followed her group down the mountain. It was fun to see her with her friend's and teachers. She loves it. The other video is of me skiing. We did a run called Longshot which you have to hike for 5 minutes to get to it. Well it was a fun run but it had moguls on it in places. Brian wanted to video tape me skiing moguls for the first time. They were fun...I just went a little slower but it was nice to do something a little more challenging. Enjoy.

Skiing! Skiing! Skiing!

Brian took Aiden and Mac skiing over the long weekend. They both had a great time with their daddy. Aiden did really well and even managed to go through the race flags set up on a run. And Mackenzie finally went on the chairlift. She was very excited to do this and it made her feel like a big girl. I am posting a couple videos of the kids. They are great. Enjoy!

Makenzie's Valentine's Party

Mackenzie's class had their Valentine's Party on Thursday. She was very excited to go and pass out Valentine's and sugar cookies to all her friends. It was a wild party with all the kids eating a ton of sugar and running around. The few parents that were there helped pass out the Valentines while they all ran around. I was helping so the video that we are posting is from after the party when we were about to leave. The first one is Mac saying goodbye to Mischa (her boyfriend). And the second one is of Mac talking to Devon the flirt of the class.

Aiden Skiing

Aiden and Brian went skiing yesterday and had a lot of fun. They went for about 3 1/2 hours. And Aiden did much, much better. The main goal of the day was to learn how to stop and ride the chairlift and he accomplished both. The first video is sweet because he wipes out. Instead of turning away from the side hill he turns right into it. He loved the chairlift and did great getting on and off. By the end of the day he was turning better, stopping and avoiding people. All in all it was a successful day and he is ready for lessons. Julie

Mackenzie Skiing

On Monday Brian took Mac skiing for the first time. She had a good time and really enjoyed herself. Her quote of the day was "Dad, I want to do french fries. I want to go fast." And she did. She really did not try to turn...just went straight down and Brian would catch her. She did well and she will be ready for lessons to start a week from Saturday. Enjoy. Julie
