Ella had a program at her school a while ago and I thought it was about time to upload it and share. She is the one in the middle with the pig tails. :)

Willow's Float Test

Willow had her first of three float tests today. At the swim club where I work they offer a float test once the student is able to float without any assistance physically or verbally from the teacher. To complete the test the child needs to float unassisted, fully dressed for 5 min or until they reach the wall and pull themselves up. Willow did amazing! However, I think that she thought she needed to float and was not allowed to grab the wall because every time she would get close to the wall she would push away from it. Usually anytime she even sees the wall she flips over and swims to it but she did the exact opposite today. I talked with her after class and explained to her that she is allowed to grab the wall. :) I shortened this video down of her test because she just keep moving away from the wall. Willow took almost 6 minutes to complete the test. Ella did her float test at 30 months and Willow is just a little ahead, doing her float test at almost 27 months.
