The Girls Spring Pictures

I thought the girls looked too cute before church last Sunday so I took them in front of our house to snap a couple of pictures. I am so happy with how they turned out!

December

In December we celebrated Christmas two times, once with my parents and brothers before they left for Utah and then another on Christmas with 2 of my brothers and Shane's dad and sister.

We made graham cracker "gingerbread" houses. The girls loved it. I think I will do it this way from now on. Last year when we did an actual gingerbread house the girls did not like the taste of it but this year they chowed down.

We got some inflatable Christmas decorations this year, the girls loved them!

When we celebrated Christmas with my parents and brothers, Shane  used a hook up from work and got us a limo to ride around and look at Christmas lights. It was a lot of fun but when we stopped a few times to get out and look at a couple different houses I realized that limos were not made for pregnant women!

Willow understood the spirit of Christmas for the first time this year, well at least the present part of it.

Ella was so excited to get this gift (a Glitter Barbie) from Grandma and Grandpa, she had been asking for it for a while. Her smile says it all!

Then on Christmas we opened more presents. Ella got a Leapster and has loved playing it.

Here the girls are playing with their toys in their new pj's and a cape for Super Willow.

November

Ella's school had a fall carnival in November. The girls were able to play at a petting zoo and go on a pony ride. I was surprised that Willow participated in both. Usually she likes animals but from a distance. :)

The girls also spent the night playing games. I think this picture it too funny, the intense look on their faces crack me up!

Ella wanted her face painted like a dog. She spent the rest of the night acting like a dog too.

October

So I am a *little* behind with my posts. Oops!
In October I took the girls to a local family festival. The girls had a lot of fun. They got their face painted, played games and rode a train.

Later on in the month we went to "The Brent Event" a fundraiser for a high school friend who is currently fighting cancer. We did the 1 mile fun run and then stayed for the BBQ and carnival. Willow loved playing the games and Ella was able to meet Mickey Mouse. (Willow would have nothing to do with Mickey)

Then of course was Halloween. We went to our church's Trunk or Treat. Both girls wanted to be mean witches. I discovered why after they put their costumes on...they looked at me and said "now that we are mean witches we don't have to listen to YOU anymore". :)

The girls were also invited to a friend's Halloween party. Willow was so excited to go play with the big girls.
