This week I went to visit friends of the family who's child has been in a horrible accident...As I was talking with them and looking at their beautiful child I could see the pain and concern in their eyes...I wanted so badly to tell them...your child will be fine, it's us as parents that suffer. But knowing exactly how they felt...I also knew words don't make us feel better when it comes to your child in pain!!
As I was driving home, my mind began to race with the numerous ER and Hospital visits over the past 13 years. My Dad often jokes that we should have a wing in the hospital named after us and will continually ask if we are in quarantine! YEP, you may smirk, but that is life with boys...
Today was just another chapter in our book as Creighton had an MRI done on his leg...we were up at 5:30am and to the hospital, what should have been a 30 minute test ended up being an hour and a half due to the fact that what they thought was a "small issue" wasn't that small...but that's us in a nut shell...nothing small...
