Were does the time go??

Wow, has it really been 5 months since my last post?   Time fly's.  Summer has come and gone and I haven't posted. We had such a fun summer with lots of trips. Here goes my LONG attempt at catching up.  Sorry, I really will TRY harder not to get SO behind.  

May-June

May - .The kids got out of school and we left straight to California to meet up with the Straws.  We spent a week over there having tons of fun at the beach, Disneyland, shopping, and going to his cousins graduation from medical school.   To bad all my pictures from this are on my old computer that broke.  Sorry :(

June -  We had a ton of birthdays to celebrate.  Case turned 5 and I turned the AWEFUL 30!  Boy was that a bad day!!  Tons of cousin b-days too.

We went roller skating for Jonah's birthday at Skateland in Chandler.  It hilarious.  Case is such a Gumbi and couldn't stand up.  It brought back tons of memory's from going there growing up.  I even won a prize for a game they played.  I felt pretty cool about kicking those 6-7 year olds butts!  Go Skateland!!

Jake and Kyle got to go over the the U.S. Open golf Tournament in San Diego with Jake's Dad.  Kyle was so excited to go and thought it was so cool that he got to watch Tiger Woods in "real life".  Little did he know that was going to be Tigers greatest tournament ever and the last time he would be playing for a long time.  

July-Utah

Summer wouldn't be complete without a trip up to Utah to visit the Straw's.  I love Utah in the summertime.  The kids can play outside without getting heat stroke.   Here is a few things we did while we were there.

It had been awhile since we did the whole downtown SLC thing so we took the kids around Temple Square and Church History sites one day.

We had a picnic up the Canyon.  The kids had a blast!

We had the Conway Family 4th of July party at Heather and Steve's.  Here is a picture of all the kids (or most of them).

Kelly and the dog.  She loves doggies!  I think this one reminded her of Boston, Uncle Jared's dog.

We took the kids to find President Hinckley's grave.  Then we started walking around and found a bunch of  the Prophets graves.  The kids really enjoyed it and thought it was cool.  

Of course our trip wouldn't be complete without going up to Park City.  The Alpine Slide is the boy's favorite thing.

July-Kalil's 1st Birthday

Kalil turned 1 in July!  She had 2 adorable party's full of lots of cake and presents and yummy food!  Kalil is so grown up for her age and can do so many things.  I sometimes feel like Kelly will never catch up!

Princess theme of course.  Amanda's Mom had little tutu skirts made for all the little girls and swords made for the boy's.  Loved it!

July-Oceanside

We took our annual Conway Family beach trip this year to Oceanside.  We usually stay up in Newport but I really enjoyed staying there this year.  It's nice because you're  in between San Diego and Anaheim so we did things all up and down the So. Cal coast.  

Here we are at the start of the trip.  It always begins with a Costco run to stock up the pantry and fridge.

Case could play something all day at the beach.  Here is one of  his favorites.

The kids love digging big holes in the sand.  I love that they can't get out.  :)

Kelly ate sand all day everyday and then I was dealing with that in her diaper for about a week!

We all took a trip up to Disneyland one day.  I LOVE Kelly's Mickey ears!

We got to go on the new Toy Story Mania ride in California Adventure.  LOVE IT!  The kids look cute in the 3d glasses too.  

Case is finally tall enough for California screamin.  He looks a little worried but after the ride was over he loved it and wanted to go again.

Here is Kyle.  This boy stays out in the water all day!  I don't know how he does it, but he loves the ocean and loves riding the waves.

Jake rented a board one day.  It was fun watching him surf.

Kelly LOVED the sand and water.  I was surprised that she wasn't afraid.  She'd crawl straight to the ocean and let the water get her.  Must be another Kyle!   How cute does she look?

We went down to Coronado one day.  Kelly enjoying reading her book by the Dell.

Our last night there we had a bon fire and cooked hot dogs and roasted marshmallows on the beach.   Then the boy's went fishing on the pier.
