Case's preschool party

Case has the best preschool teacher ever! She is so fun and the kids just love her. They alway's have the funnest class party's filled with all sorts of fun. This year they decorated icecream cone Christmas trees, had a book exchange, sang songs, and even had a special visit from Santa.

Case took his Santa hat to school and was so cute wearing it in all his pictures. He is such a goof ball though. He's always sticking out of the crowd. I don't know where he gets it from. He's in a world of his own.

This was Kelly's first time sitting on Santa's lap. He was alot friendlier looking than the mall Santa.

Kelly's Blessing Day

We blessed Kelly the second Sunday in December. Jake did a really good job. Kelly looked so pretty in her dress, I loved it! Jake's mom had bought it at an antique store in England about 10 years ago. It was made in 1860! We had bought a cute bonnet to go with it when we were in Ireland but Kelly's head was too big. Thanks to all our family who was able to make it, we love you all!

Kelly's 2 months

Kelly had her 2 month check up on the 28th of November. She was so cute in the waiting room playing and smiling. Little did she know she was about to get 4 shots and 1 oral immunization. It's the saddest thing ever! She was good though, she only cried for about a minute. I guess she's just a tough girl! :)

She's growing like a weed. She weighed 12 lbs 2 oz and was 23 3/4 inches tall. That put her in the 75th percentile for weight and 90th for heighth. She might just be another Case!

School programs

Both the kids had little Thanksgiving programs in their classrooms this year. Kyle's was a skit called "twas the night before Thanksgiving". He had the largest speaking part with 3 lines. He memorizes really good so he did a great job. This is his good friend Chase who just happens to be our next door neighbor too.
Case's class performed 3 Thanksgiving songs. Usually Case is a stink and just stands up their not singing but this year he sang all 3 songs and did a GREAT job. I think it was because I didn't invite any other family members so he didn't get shy or silly up there. And yes Case really is THAT much taller than all the kids in his class, he's a monster!

Thanksgiving

I Know I always post things after they happen but, better late than never, right? I thought I should show Kelly's first Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful dinner at the Conway's. I had some delicious rolls and corn while the rest of the family enjoyed the real food like turkey and stuff (I'm a picky eater). Case's favorite item on the menu was...you guessed it, OLIVES! Can you tell? He ate about 40 it seemed like. Next year I need to move the olive bowl away from his seat.
Kelly and Dad relaxing after a yummy dinner! They both got stuffed! (Kelly's was from a bottle of course)
Every year after Thanksgiving dinner the Conway's have a tradition of playing Bingo. It's a lot of fun and gets pretty serious. There are prizes involved so of course there's going to be some competition going on. We got lucky this and walked away with 4 out of the 7 prizes this year, sweet!
This is what I am most thankful for... My Family!

Bumbo fun

I put Kelly in her Bumbo seat for the first time last night and she LOVED it! She was talking and smiling like crazy. Finally after about five minutes I was like why aren't I recording this...so I ran and got my camera. She was too CUTE!

More Disneyland

My brother Jared always complains that I never have enough Kyle pictures. I try to tell him it's because Kyle's at school all day and I take most pictures while he's gone. I made sure to take extras of him at Disneyland so I could have a post of just him. This is for you Jared! One of Kyle's favorite rides is Indiana Jones. He probably went on it 10 times while we were there.
Kyle sporting his Mickey shirt. He only wants to wear it at Disneyland, not school. Kyle and I caught the parade one night by chance. We usually don't take the time to watch them but we got stuck trying to cross main street. It was fun to watch. We will have to see the Christmas parade when we go next month.
Alright, I know I said this was all Kyle, but it's too hard not to put Kelly in here. She was so cute all bundled up at night in her stroller I just had to throw these pictures in here.

DISNEYLAND

Yea, we finally made it back to Disneyland. It was a long 6 months to wait, the boy's where asking every week it seemed like. We kept telling them after Kelly was born. Kyle thought that meant the day after we came home from the hospital we were going. We had to explain that mom needs a few weeks to feel good enough to go. We drove over on Jake's birthday and went Saturday-Monday. We got year passes again, sorry that means more Disneyland posts in the future. You can never get enough of Disneyland, it's the happiest place on Earth!
Kelly's first time at Disneyland! She was 5 weeks old. Grandma and Grandpa Conway came over for her first time and to help out. We love having them come along, especially Kyle, he gets to run off with them and do all sorts of fun stuff and go on a bunch of rides with them. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! Oh course we had to get Kelly her first Minnie Mouse doll. Doesn't she look cute! Thanks Grandma Conway for that too! :)
We went at a great time. The crowds were light so we got to ride all the rides without much wait. Nemo was the only wait that was kind of long, about 35 minutes. It's a really cool ride. The boy's really liked it. The animation inside is way cool. I didn't care much for the cramped conditions, but what can you do?
The river ride in California Adventure is alot of fun. It was cold that day so I didn't go on it. I need to remember my poncho! :)
Kelly's first time on Haunted Mansion, she didn't seem to mind a thing. Such a good baby. :) She loves Disneyland already.

Halloween

I know it's been awhile (sorry) but here are some pictures from Kelly's first Halloween. We carved pumpkins at the Conway's, Kelly even had her own little jack-o-latern. Brock's kids came over to trick-or-treat with us so that was fun for the boy's. Jacob was some scarry clown, Jonah was black spiderman, and Carter was Micheal Myers (yea, from the horror films, crazy I know) and Kyle and Case the cowboy's. They had a blast together.
Amanda brought Kalil over too so her and Kelly can take some cute "1st Halloween" photos, unfortunalty both her crying but usually at different times. Kelly looked the best in this one (sorry Kalil) but she still looks sad. And as always Case snuck into the picture. Better luck next year.
I'm not quite sure what you would call Kelly's costume, but I thought it was adorable. Maybe a cheetah fairy/ballerina??

Edward?

I think Chase Crawford would make a good Edward, what do you think? If not Edward, one of the other Cullen brothers.

Big helper

Case is such a big help with Kelly. He alway's wants to talk to her, sing songs, play with toy's, help feed her, hold her, and take pictures with her. He's going to be a GREAT big brother!
The other day I had Kelly on Case's bed. He got all his Mickey's and put them around her. It was so cute. I guess he's just getting her ready for Disneyland next week, yippy!

The many faces of Kelly

Kelly is 4 weeks old today! She is so much fun and continues to grow and change everyday. Here are a few of her faces over the past couple of weeks! Beautiful face

Halloween fun

Let the Halloween fun begin! The kids have alot of Halloween parties lined up for the next week. The first was our annual ward Fall Festival. This is a kid favorite because it is packed with all sorts of fun stuff. The have bounce toys, pony rides, train rides, carnival games, food, kettle corn, shaved ice, and my favorite cotton candy, and a rock climbing wall! It's one big crazy party! Of course my kids run off as soon as we get there so I hardly see them the entire night, but I did manage to get these 2 pictures. I must say Case makes one cute cowboy, yee haw! Saturday they are going to Grandma Barney's ward Halloween party, then they both have parties at school too. Then Trick or Treating, talk about candy overload. I'll have to thin out their candy supply for them. :) Anyway I'll post more pic's next week.
