4th of July Weekend-Part 2 Finally

What a weekend we had! Lots of pictures means lots of memories were created. After Fossil Creek we headed to Flagstaff. First to do celebrate Mom's (Grandma's) and Rachel's Birthday!
Jacque even came down from SLC to spend the weekend with the family
Grandma and her Gransons (except for jackson who was sleeping with Jacque)
Saturday the 4th of July:
1st-the parade

The Clouse Nieces (Rachel, Katelyn, Madelyn and Ella)
The highlight of the parade for the boys was when they saw Star Wars coming down the street:
2nd: We went back to Grandpa and Grandma Clouses for a bunch of good times. Such as playing with Grandpa.

(None of my boys can keep their pants up!)
3rd: A water fight! Poor Aunt Jacque thought she could sun bathe. Sorry...if you have a swim suit on you're fair game!
Miss Madelyn might have been the only little girl there, but she held her own...
She had Riley hiding out in the play tents for cover
Grandma noticed that one of their plants was starting to wilt. Grandpa lined the kids up with full water shooters and on the count of 3 they watered the plant. (optical illusion or truth? Is Riley really as skinny as the pole?)

4th: Shooting with Grandpa
We all had fun shooting BBs and arrows. We shot at pop cans across the driveway. Boyd hit four in a row!

5th: And of course after it was dark...Sparklers and Glow sticks! Aunt Jacque brought the sparklers down from Utah with her.
6th: Finally to bed! Isn't he sweet? He fell asleep holding his glow sticks.

HAPPY 4th of JULY!

4th of July Weekend- Part 1

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. We decided that we would of course go back up to Northern Arizona for the weekend. The first stop was to Winslow to see the Summerville family and to go to Fossil Creek with them.
Their cousin Daniel couldn't wait for Riley to wake up. He sat at the end of the bed for about 15mins before I woke Riley up for him.

Dallin and Riley ready to go the creek!

As a kid Jeffery would go to Fossil Creek with his family, but this was my first time. I was a little apprehensive about going. After swimming in Tucson swimming pools, I didn't think that the boys would enjoy a cold snow run-off creek. A creek that I thought would be freezing...but I was wrong. We had such a blast together in the pretty warm water!

The boys were so excited to get into the water.

Boyd- I want to swim with those fish! SPLASH!

Jeffery took Boyd down the little rapid and flipped over on the tube. I thought Boyd would be scared...but again I was wrong. Just look at the grin on the kid. He truely is our fish. Yeah...lets do it again!
Thank goodness for older cousins. Joseph and Amber:We love you Aunt Kenya, Corbin, and Daniel!
I'm not sure who ate more lunch that day. Riley or the fish he liked to feed.Oh yeah! Here comes the rapid!Corbin and his little Yoda Joseph. We cut up some watermelon and Boyd became the watermelon police. "Only one piece!" He wanted the rest for himself.
Hold on Joseph! We had so much fun swimming with our family. It was a wonderful way to begin the weekend!
