Brazil: Carnaval in Salvador da Bahia, Rio de Janeiro

I don't have a lot of photos (cameras are often stolen off people so I didn't carry one around much), and I didn't get my disposable camera photos developed yet (what's that? develop film? do places still exist that do that?), but here's what's up so far....

Elia, not shy

Elia is usually very shy around people she does not know well.  So I hid my phone and took this video of her, to show what she is normally like...

On the dance floor

At the wedding of our friends, Evan and Elia showed their moves.  Evan especially is BIG on dancing wherever there is music and a lot of people.  The more people to watch him, the better.  He'll go right in the middle, as a circle of surprised people forms around him.  Lost in his own gettin'-jiggy world, he is not really interested in dancing with anyone as a partner--certainly not his maman!

A un mariage de copains, Evan et Elia montrent leur danses.  Evan surtout ADORE danser, la ou il a de la musique, et beaucoup de monde.  Plus de gens pour le regarder, mieux c'est pour lui.  Il va au milieu de tout le monde, et un cercle de gens l'entour.  Il est dans son monde, pas trop intéresse de danser avec une partenaire--surtout pas sa maman!
