Dress from Mom Owens

My dear sweet 93 year old grandmother, whom we call Mom Owens, went to the trouble of making Raegan a Sunday dress just like she used to make me so many years ago. We went to visit her this past Sunday, and got to show off our new dress. Mom Owens has made her several other new things as well, even though she let it slip that sewing is much harder for her now. For those of you who remember, I used to be decked out in puffy little dresses, lacy socks, patent leather shoes, and a pretty little hair bow to match EVERY SUNDAY! But almost all of my dresses were made by my grandmother. It means so much to me that she is making dresses for my little girl! Here is Raegan cuddling with Mom O, while she sings "Bye O Baby" to her. Now does that woman look 93 to you?!

How cute is that dress!
Here she is hanging out with her daddy.
This is my favorite, because this is what she does all the time now. She doesn't want to be held, she wants to be down exploring everything. "Let me outta her daddy!"
And she's off!

Another Birthday Surprise!

My sweet husband surprised me one more time with a birthday date to this WONDERFUL restaurant. It's called The Town House Grill (in Chillhowie) and let me tell you it was some really good food. We should know, because I'm pretty sure we sampled one of everything on the menu. We dropped Raegan off at mom and dad's, but not before we got some really cute pictures.
Here is Raegan mowing the patio before we left.
I just love family pictures!
I just zoomed in on Raegan, because you can see her two little teeth so well. Just a sweet couple :)The Town House Grill... it doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is DIVINE!
Here is her 11 months picture in the "reading chair" I'm a little late on it. OOPS!
This face just says, "Watch out, I'm mobile!"

The New New baby

Meet our New New baby! Here he/she is at 11 weeks. It was so funny, because this little guy was wiggling all over the place during the ultrasound, but everything looked great! The heartbeat was strong and fast which is always a good sign. It seems more real now that we are really going to have another baby! We have been calling it the "New New baby" because little Ben always calls his new stuff, for example a new pair of shoes, his "new new shoes" as if saying new shoes wouldn't be enough! Do you think this baby looks like Tony? ha ha
For those of you, like myself for instance, who are wondering what I'm going to do with a 3ROOPS website name when there will be 4 of us... well, I'm working on a solution. Not sure if I will have to do a new address, or if someone can show me how to re-route my address. I'll be sure to let you all know if there are changes!

BIRTHDAY PARTY!

Well, since Tony and I have dated, (almost 8 years now) we have had to share our birthday celebrations. Tony's birthday is June 18 and mine is June 20 (but of course he is FIVE whole years older than me :) Anyway, we celebrated our birthdays this year at mom and dad's with a cookout. Here are some of the pics from the festivities. We had a GREAT time!
Here is the famous "blowing out the candles" shot. Raegan just really wanted to touch the ice cream cake! The kids had to take turns blowing out the candles too! Our cake was just a little "sprayed" when they were all done :)A family picture.
Another family picture.
Four years of marriage, almost 2 kids and still in love!!!
This is cousin Ben after "mowing" the yard. He looks like he needed a break.
Raegan hanging out with Uncle Scott and Aunt Tammy.

Me and my buddy, Sonya. (check out my growing belly! 10 1/2 weeks and going strong :)
Here is Raegan practicing her walking... again!
Brodie sure would like a bite of that cake mom! This was a highlight for all the kids. Mom showed them how to roll down the hill. From left to right it's Annie, Ben, Connor and Ellie.
I loved this picture of Raegan. She is SO cute!

Bible School with Macie

We went to bible school with our friend Macie. They both had a ball! I've not seen so many wild children all together in a while! It was very interesting, but like I said, we all had lots of fun. Here are some of the highlights from play time.
Raegan loved these balls, and this little boy kept chasing her wherever she went. It think he was pretty sweet on my little redhead :) Here is Macie dancing away in the jumping net.
Raegan thought it was safer to hang out in here when no other kids were jumping :)
She was so funny crawling out. She thought it was really cool to go through this little tube.
It took her a while, but she finally made it out.
Pardon my lovely hat, but Raegan kept putting these hats on my head.
I love this picture of Macie. She is heading back in to brave the kids in the jumping pit. This little bubble machine was a big hit with our girls. They chased bubbles for a long time.
Here is Raegan getting a face full of bubbles :)This picture just cracked me up. This is Brodie, Raegan and Macie at Sonya's moms. Brodie didn't get to go to Bible School, but at this point it was WAY past Brodie and Raegan's bedtime. They were both screaming in this picture. But sweet little Macie is still just posing away! These kids are WILD, but we love them!!!!

Sunday afternoons

Every Sunday after church, we usually go over to mom and dad's for dinner and some quality family time. Here are a few pictures of our afternoon. Tony is demonstrating what we do ALOT at our house now. She loves to walk, but still doesn't have quite enough confidence to take off on her own. She would much rather drag us everywhere instead :) At least she makes sure that we always get our exercise! Here she is taking a break with her mama.
And here she is hanging with her daddy... letting him sit down for just a minute! She loves to walk back and forth on mom's french doors. She "chases" the kitty and sweetly puts little hand prints all over the glass! Nana's usually don't mind those little prints though.

The Butchers, the Dyes, and Aunt Jackie joined us for dinner. This is Ellie trying her best to teach Raegan the right way to crawl. Raegan is still doing her crab crawl, but Ellie thought she just needed a little instruction. She and Annie both did a little demonstration for her, but unfortunately, she still likes her crabby crawl. We'll keep practicing for you girls!

I thought this was sweet of them playing together. These girls just love each other!

Snow in June????

No this is not a picture from this winter! There was a terrible hail storm that tore through our town this evening. This is what it left in it's path. We had about 6 1/2 inches piled up on our front porch. My poor flowers have seen better days too!

And of course, some cute pictures of Raegan. I love this look... "Who me?" Notice the rice hanging from her cheek.
This is her "mean" face again. She has been perfecting it lately. :)
