Lets go Hokies!!!!!

Raegan is getting pumped up about the Va Tech games this weekend. She wanted to try out her new cheerleading outfit before gameday. She's a little upset that mama and daddy won't let her go to the games yet, but she will be cheering them on in spirit! She looks to be saying "GO HOKIES!" in this one.

Her friend Macie is a Hokie too! We call them the next generation of Hokies :-) Aren't they cute?

I still can't get over how much Macie loves Raegan. I like this one because she has her arm around her and is hugging her.

Raegan said she had enough of the pictures, and Macie was so sweet... she was kissing her to try and make her feel better. She will be such a good big sister!

Just some cute pictures

I've been noticing that Raegan has already somewhat mastered holding up her head, so I thought we would try out her Bumbo seat. She did so well in it, I couldn't believe it. Of course, she only lasted a few minutes before she got too tired, but it still amazes me!

This one is funny because she was trying to see what her dogs were up to. She is fascinated with Tucker and Casey.

I know that I am Raegan's mama, and my opinion is somewhat biased... but she is about the prettiest baby I have ever seen. She just keeps getting cuter (and fatter :) everyday!!!

Now whoever still thinks that Raegan looks like me, just get a look at this picture. I think she looks just like her daddy only with red hair. (and a lot cuter) haha

More wedding pictures

I accidentely pushed the publish button before I had added all of the pictures, so here are the rest of them.

This is Lauren, whom we predict will be the next one of us to have children. I made sure she got lots of practice! My how our family has changed :) This is us with our pooped little girl. She said being shown off wears her out. She was on her best behavior so we were happy!

I think Janey is warming up to the idea of babies! Raegan liked snuggling with her.

By the end of the event, Raegan said she had enough partying, and was ready to go home.

Much to Tony and Raegan's excitement, we stoped to take just one more picture before we hit the road. I think we make a pretty cute family.

First big trip

We took Raegan to Virginia Beach this weekend for an old college roomates wedding. We were a little nervous about traveling so far (6 1/2 hours) with her, but fortunately, she slept most of the trip. I'm pretty sure it was easier to travel with her now, that it will be when she is older.

This picture is some of my old college friends... who are all dental hygienists. The first one is one with the new bride, Candace. We had a hard time catching her for pictures. Everyone who has been a bride knows how hard it is to stop and do anything on your wedding day :) The bride and all of the girls in pink are all my old college roomates. Everybody, from left to right, is Kim, Janey, Candace, (me and Raegan of course) Lauren, Elizabeth, and Tara. Again, we are all dental hygienists. I'm pretty sure we could hold our own covention of some sort.

Going for a walk

Mom and I took Raegan on our walk yesterday. It was still a little sunny outside, so Raegan had to wear her sun hat. As you can see, it was a little big on her little head.

As you can see, we had trouble keeping it out of her eyes. After about 3 minutes of walking, she fell sound asleep and could have cared less if that hat covered her eyes or not. She slept the entire time we walked with her. I thought she looked very cute though! But when do I not :) This picture was taken at the end of our walk. She said exercise just wears her out :)

Working out

Everybody has been talking about how chubby Raegan is getting, so we took the first step towards fitness... we bought cute workout clothes. Every girl knows you have to look good to work out :)

Ready to talk!

Raegan looks so pretty in this picture. As you can see, she still loves to be in just her diaper. We were changing clothes and she just looked so pretty, I had to snap her picture. Then we started playing and she looked as though she were ready to talk on the phone. Tony says she has learned it from her mama. If she has learned this already, we are really in for it! I was just so excited that she could hold on to something. It's such a big deal every little thing they do.

Expressions

This first picture cracks me up. I would call this Raegan's mad face. She was very upset that I had layed her down just to take a picture. I'm sure that she started crying as soon as the picture was taken. She has such a scowl on her face, but is still adorable. I'm afraid she might be a little bit spoiled, and has a temper to go along with that red hair :)

Raegan has finally started smiling at us. It's hard to catch on a camera, but this is about as close as I came to getting actual proof that she really does grin. She looked like she was about ready to laugh. We're not quite there yet, but she has started to coo a little. It's funny the things that you get excited over when you are a mom.

Sweet little hand

I just thought this picture was very sweet. She likes to hold hands with her mama.

Mowing with my daddy

Raegan had lots of fun mowing the yard with her daddy. I think she really liked the noise of the mower. I'm pretty sure she wanted to go faster than her daddy would let her. They creeped around the yard... it took a little longer than usual :) Doesn't he look proud.

Just some cute pictures

These are just a couple of my favorite pictures recently. In this first one, her diaper had leaked on her outfit, so I took it off of her. She got WAY too hungry before I could put it back on, so she ate and of course was out like a light before I could get her dressed again. She slept like this for 3 hours... maybe she should go without clothes more often :) Doesn't she look like a little angel?

This picture cracks me up mostly because of the size of her chins! As of last week, she was already up to 9 lbs. I'd hate to see what she weighed now. She has a very healthy appetite. I'm afraid she inherited my appetite. I still think she looks like her daddy.

Lunch with Daddy

This was Raegan's first trip to have lunch with her daddy. As you can see, she slept right through it. Everybody thought she looked like her daddy too... which makes him very happy!

Am I getting bigger?!

I don't think we will have a problem with this little girl growing. She already has very chubby cheeks.....

and a double chin! Do you think she has changed?

A day at Great Grandma's

This is Raegan's first trip to my grandmother. Mom Owens, as we call her, is 92 and this is who Raegan is named after (her name is Sarah Estelle). She doesn't look or act 92, and she sure does love this baby.

This is 4 generations in our family, but Mom Owens is actually a great-great-great grandmother... that means SIX generations. I guess when you are 92 that can happen.

Raegan's cousin Zoe also came to visit and she was so sweet with her. Zoe was only happy if she was holding the baby, and Raegan seemed to like her.
