Cohlee and Great Grandma Brown
(Cohlee was very tired)

Chris's mom and dad came for a visit from Texas this last week. They came because James (the youngest) graduated with his masters from BYU. We are so proud of him! He is a total smarty pants. We wish we could have made it up to the graduation. It was Cohlee's first time meeting her Grandpa! When I took the pictures, Weston was at his Grandma Pam's house so he isn't in any pictures.

Proof of a tooth! {and 9 months old!}

Cohlee got her first tooth about two weeks ago. I have tried and tried to get a decent picture so I can blog it. Every time she would smile at me, I would see her cute little tooth. But the second I got the camera out, it was nowhere to be seen! Well after taking about 200 pictures over the last two weeks, I finally got it today! It just so happens her second tooth popped through today too and she is 9 months old today!.

Here are some of the failed attempts!

I lost a toof!!

Weston came home from school today with a surprise in a baggie! He has been dealing with this loose front tooth since last summer. Thats forever for a 7 year old! So he was very excited when it popped out while he was eating lunch today. I had to throw in my first grade picture. Exactly the same tooth missing. I think my mom must have forgotten it was picture day or something!

Just a side note.....Cohlee did get her first tooth about a week ago. I haven't been able to get a picture of it yet. She isn't very cooperative!

The Sugar Addiction Begins!!!

I gave Cohlee her first sucker tonight! She loved it of course. She wasn't too happy when I finished it for her. I love Tanner in the background. That kid cracks me up!

Happy Easter

As you all know, my kids don't do group pictures. Of course the one picture I snap with 4 kids in it comes out blurry! Thats just the way it goes here! I am open to any advice on how to take pictures of IMPOSSIBLE subjects!

We had an easter egg hunt and decorated sugar cookies at the Skinners house. On Sunday we had Easter dinner at my moms house.

Stuck!

This is how I find Cohlee at least once a day! She crawls half way under the chair and can't get out! She is quite the sassy little girl! Whenever she is mad about something, she throws her head back and kind of hyperventilates. I think it is cute now, but I am sure it will get old pretty fast!

Cuddling with Grandma!

Our little Cohlee is not a cuddler....yet. I guess you can say we are trying to train her. You kind of have to force her to cuddle and she will do it for a couple seconds. I know that sounds mean, but you gotta do watcha gotta do, right? Well last week when we were at my moms for Sunday dinner she was extra cuddley without having to be forced!! When that happens, it is the best! Grandma was the lucky recipient of the cuddles! Of course, since this is such a rare occurance, I had to get the camera out!

Pictures!!

My super good friend Jakelle Poulson is a photographer. She owns Pure Photography She is so talented! We took my kiddos out a couple months ago because I wanted some "6 month" pictures of Cohlee. We figured we might as well get some of the boys while we were doing it! It is crazy to me how uncooperative my children can be when it comes to taking pictures! They are fine doing individual ones, but getting one of them all together, impossible! Jakelle was very patient with them. I was the crazy one screaming and threatening trying to get them to all look at the camera and smile!!! I am sure I made it much worse. Thanks Jakelle! They look great!
