The Wilderness Beyond our Fence

We love looking beyond our backyard to the little wilderness that's behind it and all the little creatures that call it home. Recently we spotted these little guys, we aren't sure what they are. Our neighbor thinks it may be a marmot, which we had never heard of, but from what we looked up online it looks like it could be. Basically a marmot is just a large squirrel. We saw this bigger one and then some little baby ones and they were fun to watch.
Our owl friend continues to return.
More pictures of the Marmot.
Just a picture of the fields and mountains behind us. I really do love that we won't ever have neighbors right behind us and that we'll always get to enjoy this view.

21 Weeks

One week later and another attempt at getting a prego picture before church. I am already feeling really big with this pregnancy and it's certainly feeling more like Mason's pregnancy did than Emma's. The nausea has subsided thank goodness, but unfortunately has been replaced by reflux.
Of course my little momma's girl wanted in on the photo op again, but she's such a cute side kick who can resist.

Sibling Rivalry

While I was busy in the kitchen I look down to see Emma attacking her brother. She really wanted him to give her a horsey ride, but he obviously wasn't being the most cooperative horse.
I think she squashed the poor kid.
Mason trying to fight back and get up and she was doing everything she could to push him back down.
He finally got away, but she wasn't giving up. So glad he was being such a good sport about being tormented by his sister. They were rather entertaining to watch.

20 Weeks with Baby #3

I realized the other day that I haven't been very good at taking any pregnancy pictures this go around. I'm guessing it has something to do with always being preoccupied by our current 2 little munchkins. Anyhow, we were actually ready for church a few minutes early today so I had Steven try to take a picture, but Emma insisted on being next to me, so this was about the best that we got. Crazy to think that I am already half way through this pregnancy!

Painting

Awhile ago I picked up a little dresser off of KSL classifieds for Emma's room and today we made it a family project to get it painted. Emma was actually sleeping during this and Mason was in heaven being able to be our big helper. He painted the bottoms of the dresser for us.

Silly and Cute Kids

I just thought Emma looked so cute in yellow today and she was making so many funny faces so I pulled out the camera. This girl can be quite the ham.
Her little diva look.
Mason of course need a silly picture too.
Love this silly girl.
She is also quite the little daredevil and shows no fear when standing a top her booster seat when she's not supposed to.

Sad Emma

Sometimes life is just so hard for our little Emma, but even when she is in such distress she is still a cutie.

Meeting DezaRae

This morning we drove down to Cory and Terrie's house in order to meet our new niece DezaRae and to celebrate Terrie's birthday. DezaRae was actually born on Terrie's birthday March 12th, the same day we found out that we are having another boy. I was so excited to meet and snuggle with her.
Mason wasn't quite sure what to think of such a tiny little baby.
Emma certainly wasn't thrilled about me holding the baby and she ran straight to grandpa Cory's arms.
DezaRae with her favorite aunt! :)
Steven finally getting a chance to hold her.
Emma still only looking on from the safety of grandpa's arms.
While Steven was holding her, Emma finally decided it was okay to get near the baby.
Sweet baby.
Emma still isn't sure about her new cousin yet.
Brayden and Mason being silly.
Steven playing ring around the rosy with the kids.
All fall down, well except for Mason who refuses to fall down.
Love these silly kids
After the kids were done playing it was time to give grandma her birthday present. Emma getting hugs and kisses from grandma afterwards.
Mason's turn for hugs and kisses.
Then the kids headed out back to play in the sand.
Mason wanted to hold his cousin with some help from grandpa.
Our best attempt at getting a picture of all the grand kids. Emma really didn't want to sit with them all and Mason just kept pulling silly faces.
Grandma and her grand-babies.
It was a quick trip down and back, but it was nice to be able to meet little DezaRae and to celebrate Terrie's birthday with her.
