Well yesterday we finally got to move into our house with the help of Stevens parents, his older brother Cory and his wife Amanda. His dad brought up a friends truck and horse trailer to help us move and it ended up taking 3 loads to get everything moved. The men did most of the lifting and moving while us "women folk" as grandpa Cory called us, watched kids and started unpacking the kitchen. Once the guys got everything moved over they helped get our bedrooms put together so we all had somewhere to sleep tonight which was so helpful. We seriously could not have done it all without them and we are so grateful for their willingness to come up and help. especially since Logan is freezing right now. We obviously still have a ton to put away, and we still have to go back over and clean our townhouse, but it's so good to finally be here and we're looking forward to settling down.

Santa Visited our New House
We moved our hanging clothes over to the new house today and the kids (mainly Mason) were surprised to find that Santa had left them some presents in their new rooms.
This is what Mason found waiting for him in his room
He was so excited to open more presents.
He said he had to "have a break a minute" after opening his presents. He cracks me up!
After Mason opened his presents it was on to Emma's room to see what Santa left her.
She went straight for the plastic bag, just like she did at Christmas!
Daddy helped her unwrap her presents.
I think her favorites included her new elephant bath toy and the plastic bag of baby snacks.
Mason was most excited about these Hex bugs.

Meanwhile Emma was busy playing with the tissue paper and her new sippy cup.

Back Home
It started snowing pretty good this morning so we hurried to pack up and get on the road before the storm got to bad.
These pictures are from the canyon coming up to Logan.
What our little backyard looked like when we got home.
I thought we'd get home and start packing since we are moving on the 29th, but the kids were anxious to play with their new toys and we really didn't feel like packing today so we'll procrastinate it one more day.
Emma was loving her new ball popper and kept trying to grab the balls as they'd come out.
Mason just kept going from one toy to the next.

Naughty Emma
I guess Emma decided that she wanted her own undivided attention from grandma, grandpa, and aunt Carrie tonight and refused to go to bed again. So she won yet again and got to spend a couple extra hours playing and laughing with grandma, grandpa and aunt Carrie.
Carrie got her really laughing for awhile and it was pretty funny to watch. She's such a naughty little girl, but she's so darn cute you can't help but love her & play along with her.
I told her she better enjoy it now while she can because tomorrow we go home and it's back to abiding by our schedule!
Christmas Day
Later today everyone came over around 11:30 for a breakfast burrito brunch and to exchange presents.
Me checking out my new camera while we waited for everyone to arrive.
Emma with her aunt Amanda & our nephew Brayden
Emma with uncle Cory and the boys checking out Mason's new tool bench.
After brunch Steven put in the DVD we'd made for his parents with pictures from this past year. I think by the look on their faces they liked it.

Cute baby Wyatt
At 12:30 we got the message from my parents that Ekder Wilson was on Oovoo and they were ready for us to get on to chat with him. So we took the kids and retreated to our room for a little bit to talk with JJ. Having everyone on the webcam at the same time was a little chaotic to see the least. There was a lot of the time we couldn't see the others including JJ, but we could always hear them. Even though it was chaotic we loved being able to see & hear JJ, I was also glad that he got to see our kids and that Mason got to see him since we talk about Uncle JJ all the time. It's crazy to think that he's almost been out for a year already.
After talking to JJ it was time to go back and open presents with everyone.
Emma got a little vacuum from grandma and grandpa.
and Mason got a new laptop.
Mason's new truck.
Dani & Bubba opening our gift to them. There is a story behind the pan set. When we got married Steven's mom gave us this same set of pans and Bubba also got a set. We had our set all along, but somehow we took Bubba's set too and it got taken to my parents house, where they have been storing it all this time. When they gave them back to us we couldn't figure out where these pans had come from since we already have the exact same set. After talking to Terrie we figured out that they were Bubba's and thought it would be funny to give them back to him for Christmas since we had him and Dani this year. I think they were a little shocked at first, thinking we'd spent a lot on them, but then thought it was funny. We also gave them some new Rubbermaid containers.
Mason super excited about his new train set from aunt Carrie
Emma's favorite part was the wrapping paper again.
Terrie & Cory with their new wireless printer that we all went in on to get them.
Wyatt's serious face and being held by grandma
Mason getting tickled by his daddy.
After Emma had opened her presents she was so ready for a nap and fell asleep right away in her bed.
Meanwhile the gift opening continued
Terrie bringing out Cory's new TV.
Another picture of this cutie, love his smile.
Steven and Mason relaxing after everything was over.
I was just playing with our new camera and took this picture of Steven watching TV.
Our Christmas loot 2012!
All this plus a brand new house and a new washer and dryer!
I'd say we were thoroughly spoiled & blessed beyond measure this year.
(We used Cory's TV box for picture purposes, because we'd already moved Steven's back downstairs, his is the same just 42" instead of 39")
More than receiving all of this stuff we were blessed to be able to spend this Christmas with both of our families for the first time in our married life. At times it was a little hectic and overwhelming, but we wouldn't have changed a thing and loved every minute we got to spend with everyone. We owe a big thank you to both our families for making this such a special Christmas for us!
We love you all!
