CG Celebrated My Birthday Today

From what I understand from Jinqi, Ding Yuan planned the birthday surprise. Thank you DY!!

For the first time in a long time, I really had a birthday surprise.

I really enjoy the strawberry shortcake myself, I didn't even bother to ask if anyone wants a bite.

I thank God for all the affirmations:

Adeline - She said I was encouraging because of a card I gave her.

Ding Yuan - He did not felt I was fierce but people need to have 'refined eyes' to see the real me.

Hendra - He described me as 'Proverbs 31 woman'.. WAH.. shiok. Damn hao-lian now..

Elise - She said I was Word-Centered and it is what the CG needs.

Nuo Han - Found me fierce in the beginning until she got to know me more as I open up.

Gerald - He mentioned that we had a quarrel or sort in camp committee 7 years ago and never spoke until I joined the CG. (I cannot remember at all.. haha. Since when I remember scolding people?)

Jinqi - She said I was firm in my convictions.

I'm going to tell u how much i appreciate my shepherd and her name is none other than MOK Ziying, you can call her Zinc or Mokky ... haha But she prefers you calling her zinc =]

However, i'm very privilege to call her Shepherd =] because it sounds closer.

okk .. i should stop all the crap now haha .....

What i would like to say about my shepherd is that...

-she is a good listener. She always listens to me and give me good advice.

-she goes the extra mile for me. That was once i told her to accompany me to take the same train direction because i have something to share with her and she really accompanied me. I'm so touched because it will be faster for her if she takes the opposite direction from me.

-she is my encourager. Whenever i told her that i am not capable of doing something, she would tell me that i can and encourage me.Hence, without her in my life i don think i can be who i am.when i needed love, she gave me.when i needed care, she gave me.when i needed touch, she gave me. when i needed advice, she gave me. when i needed companionship, she gave me.

Shepherd, Thanks for feeding me with the WOG and spending your precious time on me. I am growing strong in the God becoz you have laid down your life(time) for me =]

I need some change in my life. I want to come out of this shell and be ME.

I want people to encourage me to do the right thing because they care for me, and not because I should do the right thing (for the benefit of others).
It is not difficult to choose to do the right things. People just don't do it because nobody cares or appreciate it.

Double Rainbows

I was on the train, on my way to Woodlands. I looked out the window. There wasn't much to look at, but building after building.
I asked God, "All these are man-made, where are your 'fingerprints'? How can Singaporeans know that you exist when all they see are made by the hands of man?"

After a whole day's event, I was on my journey home. I was tired, staring into space.
"Next stop, Redhill"
I looked out the window once again.

Rainbow. I saw a rainbow. Bright colours. Clear. Big.
Same place I ask God, "Where are you?"
Same place He replied, "See, My promise"
