Timeless Tulips Take 2
In one of my previous posts I already told you that this stamp set has really grown on me. So I played with it a little more and created a card that is a slightly simpler that the pop-up one but nonetheless still stunning.

Paper Pumpkin
I am sooooooooo in love with the March Paper Pumpkin. It is always a big surprise what you will get in the monthly subscription kit and I like most of them but this one really rocks. It coordinates so well with the Under My Umbrella stamp set. AND this one even included a free extra stamp set. Yeah!
So here is a card I made with the extra stamp set.

Global Design Project #237
What a wonderful color combination the Global Design Project #237 challenged us with this week! I am in awe. The Mint Macaron, Melon Mambo and Night of Navy look fantastic together.
I had a hard time to decide which stamp set to use and made several cards. I like them all but I had to decide one and opted for the one below. One of my favorite stamp sets from the main catalog is the Sailing Home one. I literally fell in love with it at first sight and it was the first one on my wish list.

Young At Heart Birthday
The Young at Heart stamp set makes me giggle every time I look at it. The pictures are so fun and I love practicing my coloring skills with the Stampin' Blends.
And just so you can see all the sparkle from the candles here is a closeup from a slightly different angle. I used the Wink of Stella to achieve that look.

Paper Pumpkin Alternative
I am really enjoying my March Paper Pumpkin subscription. For this card I combined it with some of the stamp sets from the main and the mini catalogs. I stamped the piggies with StazOn on watercolor paper and colored them with my ink and an Aqua Painter. Such a fun uplifting make-you-smile card.

Global Design Project GDP#236
Hello everybody! This week I participated in the Global Design Challenge again. GDP#236 is case the designer and our inspiration is the beautiful card below by the very talented Janneke Dijkstra de Jong.
I have a friend who moved half way around the world last year and when I made this card I did so with her in mind. I will send this card today as an addition to her comfort file. Never heard this term before? I just learned about it a few month ago myself. It's your stack of happy mail from your friends and family that you have collected over the years at which you take a look to remind yourself of how much you mean to others. Pretty awesome right? Do you keep a comfort file? If not it might be time to start one. Especially in these trying and uncertain times right now this could give you just the little pick up you need.

Simple Painted Poppies
I am still waiting on my dies that coordinate with the Painted Poppies because they are on backorder. Nonetheless I wanted to use the stamp set so I decided to go in the simple stamping direction. Well, let me tell you simple stamping is an extremely difficult concept for me LOL. But I manged for this card - kind of. I only cheated a little bit with a piece of ribbon. Other than that I only used ink, paper and stamps!

3D POP-UP FLOWER POT
This week's Global Design Project challenge theme (#GDP235) is Spring / Easter. How fun!
I decided to make a colorful 3D pop-up card that just screams spring and Easter to me. I have showered friends and family with even more cards than usual lately to put a smile in their faces. It's a crazy world out there right now and with all the uncertainty, turmoil and troubling everyday news a handmade card is a great surprise to find in the mailbox to brighten the recipient's day.
Today's card has such happy bright colors and so much dimension. I used lots and lots of dimensionals to stick the flowers on the base and that creates a lot of depth.

And the best part is that the card folds completely flat and can easily be send in the mail. Just slip off the belly band that holds the base flat and prevents the card from folding and stick it in an envelope.
