We all had a great Thanksgiving. Liam was a delight and he really didn't sleep too bad away from home this time. I really didn't take too many pictures, mostly just relaxed!
One of my favorite moments. Uncle Carl is 90, and Liam seemed to think having a cane was a really good idea!
Everyone sitting around, full (or bored if you are a kid), at the end of the day
What Michael and his Dad looked at while the women went black Friday shopping. Meanwhile, Liam had a blast at Aunt Marsha's house (and a lot of the family was there to play with him too, including his cousins)! He ate a lot for them, everyone had a great time!

Pinecone (surprisingly, he didn't really try to eat it... I think it was because he was so bundled up he could hardly move!)

Loving his eyes here, the coat and the bright blue sky were wonderful accents!

On the topic of thanksgiving and thankfulness, I found myself very thankful yesterday. It was very chilly morning, but beautiful, so I still met up with my running buddy. We did a slow 5 miles (the most I have done since pre-Liam...yay!). Afterward, I ran some errands and did a grocery store run. I had to make one last stop at Home Depot, to get a door sweep for our back door to try to block out a draft coming in. I got off the interstate, and was the first car waiting at the traffic light to go straight into the parking lot. I paused like I normally do before proceeding when the light turned green, but after pulling out noticed something large barreling toward me on the drivers side out of the corner of my eye. Someone in a big dark truck was speeding and running that light redder than red. I had the experience where everything was almost in slow motion. No time to honk or think, I hit the gas and heard their tires screech. Praise God there was no collision! I saw the truck just frozen there blocking the intersection for a moment even after I had crossed, and my heart was pounding. I was shaky when called Michael after I was parked in the parking lot. After thinking briefly about all that could have happened, I was just so thankful when I got home.

Brave Mama recently gave Liam the camera for a little while to let him make his first home movie. This is a little glimpse of what his world is like (haha, I also feel like such a giant now!) ;-)
Tonight was also pretty exciting and busy as we finally put up our Christmas tree! Mama was busy and didn't get Liam's dinner fast enough, so he took matters into his own hands. I freaked out he got all the way on the table, but had to laugh (and get a new bag for the Cheerios). I also noticed he bit into the peel of two bananas as well. Poor little Muncher!

His new convertible car seat also arrived! Thanks to a friend, I took advantage of an amazing closeout sale and saved probably $100! I ordered it Sunday, and it came super fast. Thanks to everyone who gave Liam birthday gift money too! He seems super cozy in it. This one is particularly high rated for side collisions, and after that close call yesterday it made me feel even better I went with this one (Britax Boulevard).

We also finally put up the tree! Coming soon will be plastic bulbs and ornaments just to be on the safe side this year ;-)
