The world has lost one of the greatest writers in graffiti, Sigi von Koedinger aka Dare. Sigi was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer some time ago, learned of by friends only a few months ago, and due to a rapid development of the disease, lost his fight 06/03/2010, in his home town of Basel.
Dare was a king. He was, and shall remain, one of the most truly inspirational writers in the history of graffiti. He was a StyleMaster, in the true sense of the name, always presenting an unsurpassed skill in his work over many years
Sigi's death is a great loss to the global graffiti community. Deepest sympathy and thoughts go to Dare's friends and family.
Dare for me personally was one my biggest inspirations as a writer - to push further and to challenge myself. Thankyou. Rest In Peace King Dare.
