Beer Garden Birthday - Part 2

We had a wonderful family lunch at Hillcrest Wine Farm. We were celebrating Samantha's 21st birthday. She chose the venue and it was a big hit. Our waiter was attentive and the service was quick. Everyone enjoyed their food and the desserts were fantastic. I had a blueberry gin and tonic which was delicious.

Beer Garden Birthday - Part 1

Last Saturday was Samantha's 21st birthday. She chose the venue, Hillcrest Wine Farm in Durbanville, near Cape Town. She booked a table in the beer garden, keeping her grandparent's dog in mind. We prefer being outside anyway, especially during this pandemic. The weather was a bit rainy on our way there, but then the sky cleared.

All the photos were taken with my Canon PowerShot, but not all the photos were by me. Robbie and Amanda each took at least one pic featured below. We were in the car when I took the first six while Hubby drove. I'll share more photos next week.

Lust Bistro and Bakery

Lust Bistro and Bakery is at the picturesque Vrede en Lust Wine Farm near Franschhoek. This is a popular wine region. The bus depicted here took a group on a wine tasting tour and another one arrived to take another group.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Lust Bistro and Bakery this past Sunday with my mother-in-law. I've shared about this restaurant previously. You can find out more about it and other places nearby by visiting the links in the related posts below.

The flowers are wisteria, wild iris, and Indian hawthorn. If you look closely, you'll see a bee on the pink flowers.
