I found this statue at the boat harbour. I've never seen it before and thought it's very cute! :) It's like a dog-train looking out to the harbour. There was a little sign at the end of the rail tracks there that said what it was but I forgot to look at it. Next time I make my trip out there, I must remember to have a peek!

Seriously, could the sky be any blue-er? :) I love days like these - and I'm glad I don't have to work today :) Gives me that opportunity to go out and unwind myself from all that's been happening. Now I am fully rested and am amped for work tomorrow. Yeps. That's right. I'm working Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Good thing we have a 4 day weekend and I'm working only on 2 of those days :) 

I was reflecting a little today on the meaning of Good Friday. I found it a tad weird how it was such a beautiful day today when about 2000 years ago, Jesus was facing one of the most scary days of His life. The crown of thorns. The scars on His back. The weight of the cross. The mockings. Tears. The nail driven through His hands and feet. The cry. And the words 'It is finished'.

Happy birthday! :D As cliche as it sounds,there is no doubt that you ARE the BESTEST mommy in the world! :) Due to time constraints (despite us getting an hour extra from daylight savings) and my huge need to study, this shall be a short post. Enjoy your prezzie (when it arrives in Brunei) :D

Let's begin with a story. So I met this guy.... :)

Today, it totally slipped my mind that it was April fools. Cos I didn't even realise we have entered April, even when I did all the paperwork in the hospital yesterday. Weird. Not that anyone pulled a prank on me. But today, I realised, age is no limit. haha. I was in a meeting with some doctors and one of the consultants pulled a prank on another consultant. It was hilarious. I think everyone in that room was shocked at the consultant who did it. No one would have thought he would pull a prank. :D That was nice as well, cos it 'woke' me up after having been in that room for about an hour...

I don't like being sick. Grr. When will this virus go away? I hate that tickly feeling down my throat that makes me cough til tears roll down my face. Anyhoo.. I'm glad the weekend's coming up :) But not before I do an oncall night on Friday! :( 

Another day tomorrow with the lil' ones. I must say, unless you've worked with neonates, you have no idea how big it makes full term babies look!
