Listen up... public announcement from the CT Rep:
Next Tuesday is our annual S44 Day!!!! Unfortunately, this year we are facing some constraints because alot o ppl would be schooling. But our tradition shouldn't be broken! I propose watching "Ice Age 2" on S44 Day at the new Cineplex at Dhoby Gaut. Before that we would be having chicken rice near that area. Kindly tell me whether you r going k??? i can only post up finalised details once i have evyone's response!! Cheers!

Double happiness..
#1.. finally handed in 2 reports and finished 1 presentation today.. marks the official day i no longer need to write reports and do presentations as a student... yar yar.. wun rule out the possibility that i may still needa do all these in future when i work... but hey.. its different as a student as compared to an employee mah... to sy and ade: do u all have the same feeling? counting to all the "last time"s that you may face from now.. last lecture, last tutorial, last seminar, last lab, blah blah.. very sianz hor.. (but relieved also la)...
happiness #2.. finally got my new hairclip.. 失而复得的东西要更加珍惜... hee.. its a replacement i got for myself.. from ebay sumore.. haha.. eh.. actually.. its my first time making online purchase wor.. and it wasnt that smooth.. cos they somehow mixed up the orders and it took like... 3 times longer than promised to arrive.. but well.. lucky for them.. i was quite lenient on my remarks this time round and didnt shoot them with emails and scold them like siao (as i normally would..) but i shld also mention that their super apologetic tone in the emails did help la... speak of GEMS man.. nway.. who knows.. maybe i will get 2, or maybe 3 clips instead if the mixed orders all come in some time later... hohoho...
Nway... having said all that.. got a few frens commented that there's no such word as "happified".. haha.. i think it came from ade or pp rite? but well.. to answer my frens.. i came up with my own following reply..
(1) past-tense of happify. describes the state of emotion when one is made happy.
(2) combined emotions of happiness and satisfied.
eg. Debbie was happified when she completed all her deadlines!
Heehee... i know i very boh liao.. but dun like that la.. after this boh liao ness i needa start my hibernation plans and bury myself into the deserted mountains of exams-mugging liao leh.. **wakeup, eat breakfast, go library, study, eat lunch, study, eat dinner, study, come back sleep. ** repeat that phrase 30 times and that shld be my daily routine for the next 4 weeks or so le bah.. how fun~~

Yea!! FYP student conference is finally over!!
I think my group did quite well, given the limited resources and support we had. Even though we did not win the Best Paper award, I am so proud of my team-mates becuase we have gotten so far without some lecturer breathing down our necks.Suddenly, I feel that all the stress, anxiety and lack of sleep was worth it becuase we managed to prove something to ourselves. Yes. Now we can affirm this by refining our raw 7000-word report into an inspiring 5000-word one.Oh well. Things always look so good on hindsight.

i just wanna exclaim sth la..
I met an 04s44ian in the office..& it was like 6 weeks after we 1st met.. abit slow la... but still so qiao can.. judging that it was rare for my dept to have temps and she's the only one~~ but she wasnt as excited bout it as me wor~~ told yaowei bout it on msn and he said maybe its bcos her class not as fun as ours~~ haha.. I said I agree other than the fact we had our year 2 class rep. LOL.
Nway, thats not the main point. I mentioned bout the upcoming 44-day.. but apparently thats not their practice to celebrate it la.. which brought me to think.. wah.. actually we also quite li hai to hold on to this tradition for half a decade liao hor.. *oh my do i feel real old as i type this..* So the point is... so, where/what exactly are we doing this year ah? No news since the last post wor~~ *sobz*

How does NUS/NTU/SMU/SIM allocate marks during exams? In my school, they allocate one mark per minute, regardless of whether your questions include MCQs. So if it's a two hour written paper, it's just 120 marks of pure torture for students like me who (1) haven't been writing very much BECAUSE I have been typing studiously at the computer and (2) tend to press my pen AND the 1st joint of my little finger very hard into the paper as I write. It was quite ironic that I was writing about implementing an ergonomics programme for a company of webpage engineers, becuase I swear my flexor digitorium, my palmar interossei and hand intrinsics were threatening to spasm 90 minutes into the paper due to repetitive strain. And I think my right hand has spreaded the news of its abuse via the central nervous systems to my other hand, because my left hand is starting to feel quite sluggish suddenly.
15 hours to (hopefully) final paper, 84 hours to FYP conference, 87 hours to freedom, 132 hours to final clinical attachment.

So so so... are we meeting for 44-day this year? Wats the program gonna be leh? hee.. Somebody go plan leh.. (having said that, pls dun suggest to arrow me.. i meant to start this off to volunteer other pple... LOL.. i may only help in participation...heee)
I can't think of any thing to do wor.. i only know.. wanna confirm must do so soon.. else later sure got peepz not free one.. then no fun le.. yep..

Incoherent Mumbling
What happens when you have to write a personal essay which constitutes 50% of a module?
Sheer madness. I am going nuts.
Am trying to motivate myself by thinking of more positive things, such as
- Official end of school in NYP in -9 days (Yes!!! I have no more school! *smirk*)
- Exams in 2 weeks
- End of FYP nightmare in 3 weeks
- Clinicals in 4 weeks
- Conclusion of final clinical bloc in 10 weeks
- Graduation party in 11 weeks
- Trip to Japan in 12 (??) weeks.
I am so looking forward to my Japan trip!!!!! Have been talking about this since year one and it's finally within my reach. Am already taking note of tour packages on the newspapers so that we can start on planning the itinerary soon (Dorothy and Eliz, do you hear me?! That silly HB is not taking any action). So Lijuan ah, I won't be going to Bangkok because I'm saving up for this. Ohoh but if you guys decide to go after I have started my work I may be able to take leave and go! SO fun! I will be financially independent and hence be able to bankrupt myself on food and shopping! And 4 years down the road, I may even be competent enough to remain in sponsor's employ. Then I will save enough money to study my specialisation and leave the OT profession forever! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YAY!!! Shall linger on this happy little bubble for a while before returning to my assigments.
