The 55-acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch® in Carlsbad, California, are in bloom for approximately six to eight weeks each year – from early March through early May – literally bringing the famous fields back to life.

Enjoy a relaxing tour through the radiant rows at The Carlsbad Flower Fields. Our Wagon Tour is an additional $8 for adults and $4 for children (ages 3-10), children under 3 are free. Tickets can be purchased after you arrive (Credit/debit card only).
A Season Pass allows you to visit The Flower Fields as many times as you wish during the 2023 Season. Once purchased, it can be used any date and time during the 2023 Flower Fields Season, no reservations required. The flowers are no longer in bloom, and The Flower Fields are now closed until next spring. The Ranunculus plants have reached the end of their life cycle, and we are preparing to start harvesting the bulbs.
Journey into the world of The Flower Fields! Learn about growing flowers, water conservation, good bugs & bad bugs, composting with worms, and take a tractor wagon ride. Create and take home a “hands on” art project, and learn songs like “Dirt Made My Lunch.”
