Aug 5, 2011 · There is no plot, but after the lunacy of Scream 3, this is a blessing. The film thunders along, hurling you from one frantic set-piece to another at ramming speed. We have no mid-movie crooning, as painfully witnessed in Scream 2, and it is a genuine pleasure to see some of these characters meeting their makers.

Jan 11, 2005 · Loved Scream 1-3, found 4 dull and 5 to be very meh - it felt like a remake of the original to me - but 6 was really good. Great opening, good characters and some entertaining set-pieces - the sub-way train sequence was a highlight for me.

Jun 27, 2012 · I watched Scream in 4K followed by Scream 2-4 on Blu-ray over the weekend. I thought Scream looked terrific in 4K but thought it wasn't a big upgrade over the BD which I admit I haven't seen for years. Wrong! The Blu-ray transfers of Scream 2-3 are very fuzzy, like they've been oversharpened and look very mediocre in comparison to the 4K transfer.
