Jun 23, 2013 · The saiga 308 is a good rifle, accuracy will depend of your ammo, if you dont wanna convert, dont convert, start to shoot your rifle and get to know it. after a while you will feel more comfortable with your rifle and learn to remove the trigger group and strip the rifle for maintenance and such.

Dec 8, 2007 · The saiga 308 is the best brush gun there is in my opinion (a bigger bullet version would be the cat's ass). Taking it out past 300 yards exposes its limitations. Anyone in an eastern woods setting will be just fine with 300 yard accuracy.

Jan 14, 2004 · The SWAT Magazine 3-gun and Kyle Lamb's North American Tactical do not place any category on Saiga shotguns. I have seen 8-rnd. mags used at both competitions with no problems due to fact that law enforcement personnel will sometimes use their Saiga 12 duty weapons in these events.

Sep 1, 2010 · There are polychokes out there specific for Saiga-12s for the factory threads. I chopped my 22" gun down and threaded it using basic hand tools. I've found out that with that gun my threads are ever so slightly off (bought a factory barrel extension and paradox rifled choke so that's almost an extra foot of barrel to find the deflection).

Sep 16, 2003 · The first time I took my gun out I was using my 7 1/2 trap shooting loads, well, that would not cycle the gun at all. I had to do it by hand. Found out that I should have turned the adjustment from #1 to #2. Someone also told me to run some buckshot through it first though on position #1 since it was a brand new gun. I did that.

Mar 1, 2011 · Oh and i wouldnt get the WASR. Do the conversion and you will understand your firearm better. That knowlege is quite valuable itself. And besides a saiga is a rock solid foundation to start with. MMMmmmm... new russian barrels...

Oct 15, 2009 · That is pretty out there I must say. However, the whole reason behind this build is to keep this a shot gun, and a non NFA weapon. I wanted a big hard hitting Saiga that was accurate, and more importantly accuracy at distance. With the rifle barrel and sabot slugs I will have a shotgun that is accurate to 200m.

Nov 13, 2010 · I have just ordered a SAIAG-12. This is my first gun, in next month or two I plan on getting another one so my wife and I have our own. Anyway, there are a few mods I want to make to the gun. The first mod I want to make is the addition of a pistol grip /w buttstock. So far I have only found systems that require physical modifications to the gun.
