Perlin noise is a 2 dimensional image, but you can apply it to 3D too by using multiple noise functions. Perlin noise is usually a number between 0 - 1, -0.5, 0.5, or -1, 1. In Roblox it is -0.5, 0.,5, and we will talk more about this soon.
