Mar 19, 2010 · I used mixed in key for awhile It worked great, but the current version has some major bugs to work out that could destroy your music collection. I had MAJOR PROBLEMS with this. When I ran a good chunk of my collection through it, it changed all of the file names to chinese and there is no to change them back.

Apr 20, 2009 · yeh I use mixed in key, well worth using if you havent alredy, i also use platinum notes! put your tracks through platinum notes, once they are improved, put them through mixed in key. I used mixed in key at my first major gig this year at ministry of sound, and, following key made my set alot better!

Jul 25, 2011 · Interestingly there isn't a 'Key - Original File Name - BPM' which I think would be my first choice as BPM isn't too crucial but good to have as a reference when warping. I guess if you wanted both you could have 2 sets of your tracks so one was sorted by key and one by BPM.

This would be SOOOOOOO helpful doin key dj mixes in ableton would save me alot of time scanning racks in mixed in key then renameing them with key codes . Anyone any ideas?

May 17, 2011 · after I got Mixed In Key I learned to really appreciate a good DJ from the pre-computer-in-the-booth era. it's one thing to throw together good songs, but when you mix songs in the same key or modulate keys to create a feeling in the mix, DAMN! lots of ways to do all things, hence a forum to discuss the angles. I swear it's the Red Bull talking!
