May 12, 2017 · The only good thing I can say about Lil' Red Barn is they have some parts for saws that are NLA by the manufacturer and not picked up by anyone else. Quality is an issue, pistons are pretty easy to manufacture, cylinders not so much. I only use them if an absolute last resort to any other option. They will get a dead saw running again.

May 12, 2017 · Also Little Red barn has a line of popups now, as Hyway does. Just LRB covers some saws I'm not sure others cover with popups. the 48mm 365 comes to mind. It's more interesting to me how these things function and last than where they come from to be honest.

Dec 23, 2015 · Nice clean saw. All graphics except clutch cover are sharp and clear.Topended it two years ago. USCed and rebuilt the Tilly. Got a jug from a Poulan collector and used a Little Red Barn piston. Saw runs good. Used it on the mill a little and it pulled quite well. Another one that sits. Needs to go to someone to enjoy. $400.00 plus the ride.

Feb 8, 2020 · I need a new piston for my 262xp with KS cylinder. I can get a new OEM at my local dealer for about $120, but the price is pretty high. Duke's have piston with "perfomance coating", and LilRedBarn with popup, and there's Meteor. Any opinions?

Nov 3, 2017 · I have two closed port 55's with bad pistons and salvageable cylinders but have been reluctant to use Lil Red Barn as a result of reading too many negative comments about doing business there. HLS was supposed to acquire a couple of those pistons for folks who would be more inclined to purchase from them instead.
