May 27, 2012 · The HK duns did due better during SOME of the environmental testing, but the Colt 6920 still did better over all. DHS rejected all of the piston driven systems based on the score of these tests, the Colt 6920 is still the standard for over all performance.

We shot OO, slugs and skeet load. I had my first real FTE with the Benelli M4. I was shoot these crappy Lellier and Bellot slugs. Every one shot was hung up.

Jan 22, 2011 · PTR-91 appears very nice. I owned an HK-91 copy-cat rifle at one time and enjoyed it. Downsides include trouble mounting optics and the extraction method virtually destroys the brass. I'm not very familiar with FALs, but the comments in this thread are similar to what I've heard elsewhere.
Advangates of an M16 over an m4? Best ar version?
Oct 7, 2010 · The primary advantage of a full size 'M16' type AR vs an 'M4gery' (an actual M4, in addition to being legally a machinegun, also has a 14.5" barrel, making it an SBR as well) is the extra velocity gained from the longer barrel, which means less bullet drop at longer ranges. You also get a longer sight radius, which generally means better accuracy.

AR15 Forend sling mounting? - Survivalist Forum
May 3, 2022 · With a two-point, I mount the sling at butt stock rear utilizing the stock's existing rearmost sling slot. Up at the front of the fore end, I attach where a military M4/M4A1 would feature the factory sling swivel. Like in this photo (Old School sling back in early 2002 Afghanistan; a time before today's excellent commercial combat slings):

Jun 16, 2023 · Common PDW's in my day included Thompson M1/1928's, M3 Grease gun, M1 Carbine, HK MP5's of one sort or another (the K models being particularly attractive to certain suit-wearing types), UZI's, Skorpion's and perhaps a few Eastern Bloc weapons which are lesser known such as PPSh-41, PPS-43 or the Stetchkin.

Jul 23, 2013 · Literally , could chose between HK 416s with Nightforce short and long range rifle scopes, HK 416s with the Aimpoints and EOTechs (which they incluced and used the 3xs) , an M4/ACOG combo setup if wanted, and even my personal probable favorite, an HK MP7, With extended mags, customized suppressor, of course the custom ammo, and optics of choice.
