Of course there’re some truly face-palm-worthy moments of ignorance— guys competing to write the most complicated if she == woman: she == “thot” program and whatnot— but I honestly believe it’s just because a lot of guys treat women who they’re comfortable around like one of the guys.

Mar 24, 2023 · I have really enjoyed CS. CS major status at UCSC give you really high priority for classes. I never had issues getting into any of the classes I needed. On top of that UCSC prioritizes having the necessary CS classes you need to graduate EVERY quarter. Some majors only offer a class once a quarter, but most CS classes are offered every quarter.

May 9, 2021 · Because most CS majors start in college, they should have the ability to get a first class education in CS. Unfortunately I don't believe that given the current NYU CS core, a student can become a strong programmer. I agree that the CS major needs more diversity. I should have done more to help NYU be more diverse instead of complaining so much.
