Dec 6, 2024 · Started a new game just for fun. This game just oozes atmosphere. The streets of Yharnam, the imposing Cathedral Ward, the Tower in the DLC. I even appreciate it more now after Elden Ring. I do love Elden Ring and the general build variety of the Souls game lineage (Bloodborne is more a cousin IMO), but man I now appreciate it more.

Aug 18, 2024 · Considering the progress this emulator is making I wouldn't be surprised if it's almost perfectly playing Bloodborne by the end of the year. Sony fucked up. Now even if they do eventually release a PC port they'll lose sales to this.

I'd held off because I prefer games with a "proper" story and I also tend to dislike too much difficulty in games, but I was struggling for something to play and I finally took the notion. I've never played a Souls game before so it was a new experience for me.

Nov 2, 2024 · Got the image from someone i know on discord that got the console early from a retailer, not sure yet what it specifically does or how well, but presumably sony made a systemwide upscaling pass for all PS4 games to improve image quality, so this should even affect games like Bloodborne (no it wouldnt unlock it to 60fps).
