Bing news scroll bar no longer showing on homepage
When I go to the Bing homepage (bing.com) on my Chrome browser, I no longer am shown the Bing news scroll bar at the bottom of the page. Where did it go? This problem has persisted for two days and my computer is updated, chrome is up-to-date, etc. I also cannot see the box that provides more information about the Bing daily picture.

Dec 4, 2015 · I am using Bing Desktop and it works well for searches, desktop backgrounds, and local weather. It's great! I am unable to view any "Top News", "Trending", or "Trending Images" items. All I get is the five swinging dots (the Microsoft brand image) that never resolves. I don't know if this is a Bing issue, a proxy server issue, or a firewall issue.

Nov 2, 2019 · (1) On the Bing homepage, in the upper, right corner, click on the hamburger to open the menu. Make sure that the "Show News and Interests" toggle is set to ON. (2) At the bottom, left of the Bing homepage, look for the small expand/collapse arrow and click on that to expand (show) the news again.

All of a sudden that crawler is gone and I can’t figure out how to get it back. I’ve gone thru the settings but can’t find anything specific to the news crawler. Oct 24, 2024 · The bing app is open but it's just not loading the story. I can see the coin animation showing I've earned a few points but the story does not load. If it's a notification and I try to go back it takes me to the weather forecast. I've left countless feedback posts about it but it's been happening for a year at least so it seems it's not a priority.
