Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT), also called the Tehran Polytechnic, is a public research university located in Tehran, Iran. The university was founded in 1928 as a standard academy, and developed to the university of technology by Habib Nafisi in 1956, after that extended by Dr. Mohammad Ali Mojtahedi, during the Pahlavi dynasty.
