Technically it will also open it but then shut the garage door closes again immediately. This is a major problem because you have to go to the cam screen and as everyone who uses wise knows this takes forever.

I have tried using the Wyze integration (via HACS) and also the Google SDK. When testing the entities listed in the Wyze integration, none of them appear to be sending the open/close command.

Pretty sure I followed the instructions and wired the white and red wires on the adapter to the white and red terminals on the garage door opener (might have used the same terminals already used for my wired button) and then used the extra 2 wires on the adapter to wire in the Wyze controller.

Apr 22, 2022 · You can literally buy a meross wifi switch that has a open/close detector. Extremely simple and then connect with Google assistant, just say hey Google open garage door. Actually opening it requires PIN. You can keep the open/close detector to open and just say hey Google close garage door. Boom wifi and Google connected garage door opener.

Jan 11, 2024 · Before MyQ, I used Garadget, which was nice because you could control it via Alexa, which MyQ/Chamberlain said they would never allow for security reasons (I guess someone outside your house could yell "Alexa, open the garage door!" and it would open). This is in the same vien as using a wyze outlet to control a relay for a thermostat in an outbuilding to be able to control the heat - cheaper than a wyze thermostat because I already had the outlet.
