The award has been presented to entrepreneur Desmond Martin, founder and owner of Happy Honu Shave Ice in Arizona, who uses his passion for sharing aloha to positively impact his family and community.

Happy Honu Shave Ice is opening near 91st Avenue and Union Hills Drive. It serves refreshing shave ice, Dole Whip and ice cream from the Island of Kauai.

The Fresh Shave, a handcrafted shaved ice concept at Fourth and Roosevelt streets, hosted its grand opening on October 4, and the reception from the area has so far been anything but icy.
