Sometimes I Like You, at Times I Don't....

And I'm not talking about my husband, as I love him at ALL times.  *naks*  

I'm talking about makeup of course!  I got the Holika Holika Magic Pole Eyeliner 2X through Althea just because I didn't know we have it locally at that time I ordered online.  It was sitting in my "liquid liner" box for the longest time and I can't put my finger on either I love this product or not liking it at all!  

Let me tell you more about my confusing by sharing some photos on the product itself.

Magic Pole Eyeliner 2X is wand-shaped brush helps stop your hand from shaking, allow you to draw line much easier.With only one touch, a bold and vivid line that makes your eyes look bigger is accomplished. It contains butylene glycol, diethyl aminoethyl.sodium hydroxide.

It looks like a regular liquid liner pen but what sets this apart from other liquid liners I've tried is the applicator itself.

As you can see, you get a dark black shade that has a bit of a nice "Film-like" finish.  It isn't glossy but it isn't perfectly matte which I like.  I like how the pen is actually easy to use (when applied at the back of the hand) as it felt like my favorite 0.8 ballpen tip!  I know 0.5 is what everyone's been using but I always prefer the thicker tip as my handwriting looks better.

I thought it would be the same case when applied on the eye area!  This is one of the trickiest liquid liner product to use even if you're already a liquid liner PRO like myself!  

It took me a lot of time, effort and practice to really complete a nice line!  

Now, let me explain the title, I LOVE this product because of the continuous flow of the liner, it flows evenly I don't have to worry about blank spaces in between application.  I also like the size of the pen, it is perfect in a way it felt like a regular marker pen!  

As for the liner itself, it is highly pigmented, has a nice semi-glossy finish and it looks GREAT on the eyes!  The liner lasts the whole day without smudging, I tried rubbing my eyes in between testing and it didn't move!  It will disappear a tiny bit if you are under humid weather condition but overall, I am impressed with the quality of the liner considering the price!

Now, the only issue I would say is the difficulty in creating an even thickness of the line and it is even more challenging to create a winged liner!

I seriously love the effect and love how it looks on me, I just wish it is as easy to use as my regular liquid liner because the quality is THE BOMB!

I personally think if you like thick and heavy liners, this is the one you may look into!  I'm not sure if they are still available locally but do holler and let me know by commenting below.
