Erin M Riley’s Tapestries
Right now I’m addicted to keeping up with the Instagram account of Philadelphia based artist, Erin M. Reily. On which, she showcases her hand woven tapestry that will break the preconceived notion of what you think loom work should look like. Her raw, edgy portraits of sexuality, addictions and excesses create an updated version of traditional loom storytelling. It’s definitely on my wish list of conversation starter art I want hanging on my wall right now.
If you’re in New York , you can see Erin’s work at the PULSE Art Fair until May 12th, 2013.
