Repayment Terms:
Bill is generated every month. Users have the option to convert bills to EMIs from 3 months up to 15 months. Users can also repay the bill in full at no interest cost by the due date. Loan repayment tenure ranges from a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 15 months.

Annual Percentage Rate (APR):
Ranges from 18%-70%. APR is communicated on the app while converting a bill to EMIs or taking a loan. APR will be different for different tenures of EMIs.

Example of postpe cash:

Amount chosen by user: ₹1,00,000
Tenure: 12 months
Interest Rate: 18% per year (reducing)
Processing fees: 2.5%
Repayment Amount: ₹1,11,196
Total Interest Payable: ₹11,196
Processing Fees (incl. GST): ₹2,500
Monthly installment (EMI): ₹9,266.32
Total Cost of the Loan: Interest Amount + Processing Fees = ₹2,500 + ₹11,196 = ₹13,695
APR: 24.8%
Example of Bill to EMI conversion:

Amount converted into EMI: ₹1,00,000
Tenure: 6 months
Interest Rate (APR): 18% per year
Repayment Amount: ₹1,09,000
Total Interest Payable: ₹9,000
Processing Fees (incl. GST): ₹0
Monthly installment (EMI): ₹18,166.67
Total Cost of the Loan: Interest Amount + Processing Fees = ₹9,000 + ₹0 = ₹9,000

Permissions:
As per NPCI regulations, it is mandatory for UPI payment apps to enable SIM binding (send and receive SMS) from the user’s device to auto populate OTP on NPCI common library for authentication and authorization of payments. We also require permissions for Location, Device Information, and SMS to provide additional data points, allowing our partners to better underwrite you. One less star for very short due date

The app is fantastic but the very little time we get to repay the money used is not good.
You get only 5 days to pay the bill and starting the first day you start getting several msgs and WhatsApp to pay the bill immediately.
I don’t say you should provide 20 days as a credit card does but at-least consider 10 days and start reminding us if we don’t pay in 7 days.
I want to use the services but use it as the last option because of the very short due date.
Anyone who has a credit card should use their credit card first.

Fraud postpe

Hi guys, The money which we scan to merchant it will be directed to barathpe and to claim that amount need to create barathpe account and you know what someone has created barathpe account with one of my merchant acct with his number when I scanned and paid him it was transfer to barathpe acct and it got moved to the one who created that acct now my merchant lost money and I had to repay it again so I lost around 6000 without any usage. Today for that lost amount they charged convenience fees again. I recommend not to use this app. Fraudulent charges and also frauds are already benefitted with this company policies. I raised a complaint from barathpe and postpe and also to the bank which it was transferred nobody was responding. Like my 3000 how many have lost 1 - many thousands. In the same way these fools are earning . I just thought that I can clear my dues on time but with this app I am loosing my money . I sincerely advice today you may not face issue but I am sure someday you will loose big amount for sure where you don’t even have any luck to resolve the issue. I tried to complaint to police and consumer forum but nobody responded. Please don’t use this app guys . Regards, Sai

Worst

I have been using postpay for almost a 16 months and never missed on my payments.
Just got hospitalised for 2 weeks which missed the due date. They call you atleast
20-30 times a day torturing us to pay back the money immediately. They don't emphasise or understand what the person is going through or they don't even check the past payments and understand something is wrong and the customer has missed.
When I said I am hospitalised and I notified them that I will get this paid in full and close. They are not understanding that I am in the hospital but all they want me is to arrange money from someone and pay the money.
Worst credit institution I dealt with. I referred many friends and family to this. I am going to have this notified and have their post pay closed or cancelled..and some of customer care lady asking to go sit on traffic signals do begging and pay back money ..not at all happy with his kind of attitude..till now our parents also not spoken in such way ..
