Good but not great. Has some missing features like: Player does not remember the last playlist you used; Seaching a playlist does nothing, it shows you one song if you have randomised the list, even though you have a lot more from the artist, and that found song is not marked; Search is hidden instead of being in the taskbar where it belongs; Menu stuff are on the upper screen instead of at the buttom. You have no idea where you are in the playlist when a song plays, because it is not marked.

Thank you for your interest in BubbleUPnP. Playlist Search is indeed rather limited. If you enable 'More > Settings > Playlist > Cursor follows playback', whenever you enter the Playlist tab, the playing track will be visible.

It's an awesome app, the most versatile in casting field IMHO. I think I found a bug. Whenever I try to cast from a file manager on my LAN files with extension vob I get error message Can not play no http stream found. Other file types I have (mkv mp4 avi mpg) cast fine. However when I try to cast the same vobs from my synology beefiles this app cast them fine. So in my case it's only specific to vobs and file manager+ app. If I cast those vobs from the bubbleupnp's samba shares, it's all fine.

BubbleUPnP is a versatile app for streaming media to Chromecast, offering live transcoding to play unsupported formats. However, it struggles with specific formats like H.265 10-bit directly from mobile. It excels in preserving multi-channel audio and overall streaming performance, making it reliable for supported formats. I hope future updates will enhance its compatibility further.
